Did you mean to say Andersen instead of Christensen?

Either way I think signing 3 new centre backs and playing them all together could spell disaster, plus it's unnecessary.

Toby, NEW CB, and one of Rodon, Tananga or Davies is fine

We need a new back four....thats 4 players.

With no proper Europe we could probably get away with only signing 1, which would mean we could sign a top centre back with the money raised from selling them 2.

This could be his best position. Doesn't win many headers though

Wasn't there strong links to Joachim Andersen. Who was just on loan at Fulham from Lille.

We were strongly linked with him when he was at Sampdoria too.

We should only be signing one CB this summer but if Andersen comes in then we'd have to get another because he doesn't really address the problems with our current crop imo

He's another Immobile CB who isn't good at defending in a high line or stepping up and engaging attackers.

We need someone who can do that whilst being good on the ball

I like Andersen for the record but if we're looking to play higher up the pitch we should be looking for a defender who's a more natural fit to do so

Be interesting to see if the new manager sees it that way too and who fits the description.

Wouldn't be surprised if Paratici went for the Turkish Cb at Juve who hardly plays. 23 and a bg unit. Had a stinker last night but that's only one game. Always seems to be linked with a move in the transfer windows.

I rate Demiral but again not sure about the fit

I mean that’s total bollox. Tanganga and Rodon are kids, what they need is effective coaching, not binning off. Toby can still do a job, but we need to sack Dier and Sanchez off as well as Aurier and being in a new RB and best quality CB we can afford.

I would have definitely keep Aurier, he is not as bad as everybody makes out. But I think he wants out anyway. Finding a new right back will not be easy.
