After reading on another thread I’m starting to warm to this one

Agree with a Scottish fan on another thread saying that a draw is probably the best result for Scotland at this stage. Basically, you want to see the other teams getting as few points as possible.

Fully understand Scotland wanting an English defeat though

That's probably true but once you're there in a major tournament, you never know what can happen. Hopefully Scotland get a win tomorrow (something I think you're capable of) and then you're almost already in the second round and confidence will grow.

As a Northern Irishman I have unfortunately have no horse in this race, but I'd love to see Scotland do well and even at least get to the second round. From there, who knows how far you could go?

Let's face it, there are only two likely scenarios for Scotland.

- a horsing in every game

- scrape a win and a draw and go out on goal difference or poorest of the 3rd places
