As someone who has lost on crypto and done quite a bit of research i take one main (MAJOR) problem with this advice
You said you invested £200 and have now got it at £6000 however looking at the numbers this seems impossible
If (best case scenario) you bought £200 of shares at an all time low of £0.00319721 you would have around 62554 shares.
if you had then sold them (best case scenario) at the all time high of £0.00529567 you would only have £331.26 back?
So now quite sure where the figure of 30x your money comes from?

That's not the all time low though mate
Also not the ath mate. Ath was $0.017
I have just under 1.1 million coins
My biggest purchase was at $0.0001
Cant see anywhere where the price was that low or high
Most cryptos are a ponzi scheme where investors get people to invest to drive the price up then cash out and leave people in the lurch
out of curiosity what did you lose on?
I lost on a couple too, trying to chase things i knew were pump and dumps but not getting out befrore the dump.
It was actualyl you i was thinking off with this btw as it was the post you asked for savings advices that made me look into crypto.
no skin off my nose though

Maybe you should actually look at it before calling it a scam and a ponzi scheme?
I get you have maybe lost out on rug pulls so wary. Happened to me too.
THey are a registered business, retained a well known law firm (latham and watkins) for compliance and regulatory advice.
Equally don't, but calling me a liar and a scammer is not acceptable.

to some extent don't disagree. its all just numbers on a computer. I say they same about the stockmarket.
I've been into it fairly heavily for almost a year although I liquidated almost everything a few weeks back.
I've done pretty well.
After a pretty good spell I decided to take a punt on doge. It's a load of garbage but I made nearly £20k profit buying and selling that over a period of about a month.
I'd be staying away from the market for a few weeks until things stabilise one way or another.

correct even the garbage and scams there is money to be made if you get out before the scammers lol
I only have one question about Crypto Currencies. Can you cash out? I know that means others have to want to buy them, but just wondered, as I heard stories that you can use them, the value can increase significantly, but it can`t be sold, as it were. I clearly don`t have a clue, which is why I am asking.

You can sell at any time as long as there is liquidity. Developers of good projects will create a liquidity pool so that even if there is no trading you can still sell

Thanks. Always wondered. Am now in a position to do something, but no clue how to get involved. I know that means I can also lose, due to being a novice, but thinking about retirement, it`s certainly something worth looking at
On 12/04/21 Strike was sitting at £64.55 I see it's now sitting at about half that at £32.38 and is down 41.4% over the last year so I won't get too excited over this one. I realise it's up 2.49% over the last month which sounds good compared to banks but it's very volatile like all the cryptos.
