All I am going to say is that a few of us warned all those fans that wanted Jose out that we would not be in a position to replace him with anybody better... and now it is coming to pass.

Can't see any success stories behind his managerial career, though we know he was a decent player Gattuso...
It's just shambles after shambles!
Clearly something was up as neither Levy nor Paratici announced Fonseca, but he was offered 3 years contract??
Bet this excuse with the fiscal issues, just to ditch Fonseca and get Gattuso?

I give up with Spurs. It's hard to believe we're on our 6th choice manager and we move further away from managers I wanted at the beginning.
Apparently he gets tax breaks in Italy that he doesnt get here.
1. He wont get any tax breaks if he doesnt have a job
2. He's just in it for the money?
So many fans angry that we arent getting the manager they didnt want in the first place.
On what grounds has Gattuso ever proved himself to be capable as a manager? He's done nothing. This for me is exactly the same as signing Parker, no, worse, as he has no Prem experience.
This is entirely a Paratici choice which is some ways is what you want but not if it doesn't match the ethos of the club. If the Sporting Director wanted Barry Fry you wouldn't just let him make that appointment would you?! I cannot believe that the biggest decisions of our club are being completely managed by a man not yet on the payroll.
This club is an effing joke. So sick of the way ENIC have run it. Poch masked their failings but since he's gone, their true colours have been exposed. They're using FFP as a reason not to add funds to the club so it appears sustainable and within the rules but let's face it, FFP is massively watered down and owners that want to spend their own money can find the right loopholes in order to do it. It's an excuse.
We're absolutely fecked now. I'm so sick of this club. Roll on the England game. It's the only team I'm even thinking about backing right now.

Comedy appointment if it happens, it has to be a wind up though, surely Gattuso is a wind up. He is a completely bad fit and has done nothing to deserve the job.

It has been suggested that Gattuso was Paratici’s preferred choice and he tried to take him to Juventus last year.
But the former AC Milan midfielder was not available until Thursday and therefore the Spurs official held advanced negotiations with Fonseca.
However, the former AC Milan and Napoli boss is the number contender to become the next Tottenham manager and talks are under way between the club and Italian with Jorge Mendes as the mediator.
Tottenham’s decision to pull out of the negotiations at the eleventh hour has left a bitter taste in Fonseca’s mouth.
