People pay way too much attention to how players play for England. I’ve seen people state we shouldn’t buy Sancho because he wasn’t great for England over the past couple of seasons. Who is? Andy Cole scored one goal for England but was still a United icon. England is a graveyard for talented English players. Scholes was world class for us but rarely showed it for England. Kane will be great for City because he’ll be coached much much better than the static rubbish he has to contend with under Southjaer.

No, I agree, it’s just that there are lots of (valid) reasons why top players at club level don’t go on to do as well for England and most of those reasons aren’t actually down to the players themselves.
To be fair Robb, Scholes isn't a good example. Carrick is a better one.
It didn’t happen nearly as often as people will have you believe. Plus Gerrard and Lampard weren’t regulars until after the 2002 world cup, by which point Scholes had already been a starter at three tournaments for England.

If Haaland is available for similar money then why would City go for Kane. Haaland is on a similar level right now but with higher potential and likely another decade of football in him

We will be fighting for 4th with Leicester, Spurs and Everton.

Yes Kane is a class player, arguably the best CF in the world. However, who Man City or Chelsea sign will affected or title chance far less than who we sign ourselves.

Busy at work, I see the serial wafflers are making up situations wherein this does not work. KDB supplying Harry Kane balls, and it won't work haha. Keep on being in dreamland. This is a striker that has been doing this numerous years in the premier league, as a man who knows how to put the ball back in the net (Shearer) has said, Kane is breaking his record if he goes to City.
