City spend what they earn in prize money.
Quite a simple concept really.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So you’re saying City have won around £1.2 billion in prize money?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Turnover over the last 10 years close to £4bn.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Since when did turnover equal profit?
You spend the vast majority of your turnover on wages
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not as much Liverpool though.

Liverpool do not doctor their books though. Everybody except City fans knows your accounts are fabricated and have been for a long time.

Few days later the skint club savaged by Covid and days away from financial ruin find 120m down the sofa to approach PSG. Couldn’t have timed it better for this absolute car crash of a thread 😂

Well the CAS ruled that the documents were fake, the person that 'produced' the emails is in prison for blackmail and City's accounts are handled by Ernst & Young - One of the World's most respected accounting firms.
Of course, if you have unearthed new evidence feel free to share it.
Accounting firms are literally there to fudge the numbers to a millimetre away from illegality. The more "respected" the better they are at fudging
City have certainly found their way around many flawed financial rules. Even if technically legal all it means is that long term every club would need billionaire owners doing the same to stand a chance to compete.
Personally I'd hate football to go any further that way, probably all to late now though.

Can you provide evidence that CAS said that these specific documents about Mancini were fake? The rest of your post is irrelevant, since the jacker didn't go to jail for forgery, and the entire point of making these hidden payments is to keep them off the accountants books...
City moved a significant part of their wage bill to other companies, using sponsorships and other tricks to cover it up.
They were caught and this is well documented. No City fan could have forgotten that sorry episode.

I dunno. There's several City fans on here who seem fully deluded about it
"Buying success" is an attack mantra for fans of cash poor teams to alleviate feelings of being under privileged...
Any person or organisation with the funds generally seek out the best product that money can buy.
On the rare occasion when a team with lower price tag players win a competition , they receive special mention because of the big achievement, rightly so, but this is very unusual.
Nagging about something so normal is just sour grapes boring.

City spend what they earn in prize money.
Quite a simple concept really.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So you’re saying City have won around £1.2 billion in prize money?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Turnover over the last 10 years close to £4bn.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Since when did turnover equal profit?
You spend the vast majority of your turnover on wages
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not as much Liverpool though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Liverpool do not doctor their books though. Everybody except City fans knows your accounts are fabricated and have been for a long time.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Proof? Once again a scouser talking bolloxs.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes the link that alleges evidence that Mancini was paid an extra salary off the books.

The “holier than thou” attitude engrained in this article and the minds of so many Liverpool fans is hilarious.

They were caught and this is well documented. No City fan could have forgotten that sorry episode.
