Its just that it was generally reported as being around the £1.2 - 1.3m mark when celtic bought Hendry.
Dont get me wrong - celtic have done terrific to get the fees they have for guys like Frimpong, Klimala and Hendry.
But I think claiming you doubled your money on Hendry is a stretch. Plus I would imagine he has been getting paid a wage for the last 3 years....
Its a good deal for Celtic and a great deal for Oostende if they punt him immediately for a tasty profit.

An absolute power of work for him to get through before this qualifier. Looks like you’ve shot yourselves in the foot with Edouard forcing Leicester to go elsewhere. Last thing you need is to force players into another season they don’t want to be part of.
You have to think Angie will be backed and as you would expect the players being linked seem to be in the £2-4m bracket.
And as you know at that level for every David Turnbull there is a Bolingoli or an Ajeti or a Barkas…. 😂

In other news it was good to see wee Nic come out today and take her chance to condemn the tartan army covid super spreaders today. Those thousands of football fans who ignored government advice not to travel and who selfishly ignored social distancing rules by packing onto buses and travelling hundreds of miles.
She couldnt really do anything else after the way she and her merry gang tore into Rangers fans
Oh no wait.......turns out she wasnt that bothered about the covid risk with Rangers fans (which actually amounted to nothing significant) it was because of the fighting and the singing.
Plus she now admits Rangers as a club really couldnt do anything to stop those gatherings either.
And it seems focussing on drunk bams fighting with each other and singing anti catholic songs is of course far more important during a pandemic that bus loads of idiots spreading a deadly disease that has had us all locked in our hooses for the last 18 months.
You really couldnt mark her neck with a blowtorch.....
