This seems to be gathering pace, mostly I take reports of our supposed signings with with a pinch of salt ,but this appears to be true.
Fingers crossed as he appears from the statistics to be a top quality player.

He’s a tall fella too so there’s one bonus if he signs. Not got many tall lads
Does that mean no Galan or will we stock the pond a little? Wouldn't be bad business signing 2 highly rated left backs for 16 million.
He reminds me of Ayling the way he plays on that video.

Apparently he can play Centre back and right back also.

No chance we sign both. Wouldn’t make sense. We ask the have the finances to hoard players
ive seen this lad play, i think he'll be a good signing even without marcelo's influence.
Rapid wing back from Barca. Now we're talking.
Spanish language periódicos stress the need for Barcelona to balance the books, and the ambition of Leeds United as a club being a very persuasive factor.
It would be great if Victor Orta can close Thai deal off soon.
Firpo is a high profile signing. Was heavy highly rated when he was at Betis, and being unable to displace Jordi Alba is by no means a bad thing. Alba been one of the best LBs in the world for years.
Seems a bargain, as well, to me.
Crazy that four years ago we were signing Borthwick-Jackson on loan to try and solve our long-running LB problem.

Already looking forward to seeing the Firpo flop...
Very optimistic. Let's be honest. none of us have any first hand knowledge of the lad but he has a very good reputation. The videos look good. His stats look promising.
The negatives such as lack of game time can be easily explained by Jordi Alba.
But we don't really know do we.
One thing that I am confident with is that we are signing him because the club thinks he is the best player for us. Not because we have missed out on our preferred targets. That is very reassuring.
Never heard of him, Orta has to go

No and we don't want to sign both either - Marcelo doesn't believe in huge squads and I agree. For a newly promoted club with our resources, two expensive left backs are just an indulgence.

... and damned excited we were too, to be getting a highly rated man united youth player
Apparently he's made the left back spot his own at Burton
