11 million is an absolute bargain.
Popey reporting it is in the region of £11m. Good piece of business indeed Lubes.
Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...etc
3 good signings at top three should be the aim for me
Brilliant news. Very happy. He's been great.
Glad he's finally LUFC proper. Sure he is too.
We probably just got the deal of the summer there and a 100% proof Bielsa moulded player to boot.
128 appearances, feck that took a long time to get sorted!..
But now it is I hope he improves!.
Believe we could have had him last year as part of the previous loan for less, but it suited cash flow to extend the loan. Guess it also gave the chance to see how he cut it in the Prem.
Whichever, it’s great business.
He can be frustrating at times but as wakey said, he has a great first touch and this year he seemed to up his second touch - crossing was more consistent - decision making, never his strength seems to be getting better. Always puts in a shift… and should be coming into his prime Glad he’s ours.
I think the issue last summer was that the buy option expired due to the season extending past the official end of the loan. Cash flow may have helped, but I'm pretty sure I read the former as the cause somewhere.
