B. Motor racing is essentially a team sport. Not in the same way as Football but the winning car is down to a massive team and money.

Same as football then- down to money

A goat would be humble and act as one. Hamilton was the opposite today.

It's a shame he's prepared to cheat and risk injury or loss of life to another driver.

Clearly deserved a much harsher penalty than he received today but unfortunately the governing body bottled it again.

The Governing Body always bottle anything that might cast Sir Lord God Almighty Lewis Hamiltion in too much of a bad light. The guys gone to hospital and Hamilton still blames him whilist passing himself off as a beacon of light/hope.

Cretin.

No doubt LH is in GOAT territory.
All great sportsman have flaws in them, and sometimes some are judged more than others. Some people’s standards are not quite the same, and can’t Separate their dislike from giving respect where it’s due.

Lewis has nothing to prove now. Legendary status is secured.

He still has to prove he’s not a tosspot

What’s Lewis done wrong given this context?

Max knew he was there, you can see him look in his mirror and then try and shut the door on the corner, totally avoidable

I'm not saying he is wrong for going for a gap

I'm saying he's wrong for saying it was his opponent who was too aggressive..which is utter nonsense

What Hamilton did when he overtook Leclerc, is exactly what he should have done at the Verstappen incident

He didn't get past and backed off...only reason he got past eventually was because Leclerc ran wide

With Verstappen, he didn't back off, Verstappen didn't run wide, and we all saw what happened

Nothing.
The world just happens to be a little more 'precious' since Ayrton left us.

Should always go for the gap. 👍 But in this case LH feck it. Missed the apex, ran wide, hit Verstappen. It happens, it's racing.

I don't think Hamilton intended for it to happen, but his error caused the collision.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I’d argue the error was his strategy of getting ahead of Verstappen as quickly as possible with a full fuel load. Try hitting the apex when they were that aggressive.

Hamilton says Max cut him off, check the video, Hamilton runs wide as he misses the Apex. If Max had cut off Hamilton, Max would have been penalised.

Couldnt stand Hamilton before, now I hope he loses his left nut.

The British Grand Prix stewards judged Hamilton to be "predominantly at fault". They said Hamilton went into the corner "slightly behind and on the inside", saying that he was "on a line that did not reach the apex of the corner, with room available to the inside".

Exactly that, you cant watch the images and disagree with that assessment.

was the act of a desperate loser

when they get so used to having it their own way they lose all sense of right and wrong.

John candy said it best in cool runnings when he had to explain why he cheated and that he had to keep winning

"a gold medal is a wonderful thing, but if youre never enough without it, you'll never be enough with it"

never been that arrogant twerps biggest fan, but even I was surprised he lowered himself to that sh!thousery today, he could literally have killed a rival

posted on 18/7/21

Hamilton should have been forced to withdraw from the race and start the next one from the pit lane but it was the British GP so that was never gonna happen.

I look forward to the day that the horrible cant (with the personality of a house fly) retires and I can enjoy the sport again.
