Blame Everton. Building a stadium they won't even fill. Travesty.

A group in china tell us that a waste ground is beautiful and should be kept as a waste ground.

I'm personal with the mayor on this. The people of the city should not give a flying F about unesco when they are denying them better facilities, better use of land and frankly the thought that its fine to go throw up buildings on green field sits but a derelict pile of dirt is left there is the very antipathy of environmental conservation.

This. The waterfront's not going to stop being an important (and stunning) heritage site just because there's a modern football ground near it.

If you want to maintain the Victorian character of the area why not just build a replica of Goodison Park?

Liverpool should probably be recognized for maintaining its 1980s feel really. It has been stuck in that decade for 40 years now.

Used to go up and drink in Wallassey quite a bit in the 90s, at least i think it was the nineties but there were a lot of shell suits and perms still going on.

Why would anyone make up drinking in Wallassey Used to frequent a pub called the Dale. Occasional visits to New Brighton. Enjoyed it

One time we went to the Matthews street festival and Carragher was on his own wasted in the very early days of his career, nobody would go near him.
