It's guaranteed to be 3-0 after 3. This Aussie team isn't as ruthless as previous ones and we sometimes show a bit of backbone after the series is lost so we may avoid defeat in one of the remaining two.

Agree best way to play given how India are playing… disagree with holding and Strauss ripping into Pant for his approach

Yeah it's a strange one, he plays with a fearless attitude that puts teams on the back foot. It's not in his locker to hang about, leave a few and hope for the best. Play a few shots and spread the field, he's got the ability to do it. We know how dangerous is and as soon as he pings a couple to the boundary, Root will very quickly go defensive because there's so few runs on the board and he's generally a conservative captain anyway.

It wasn't a gimme but it wasn't the hardest chance either. With so few runs on the board, you simply have to take those chances.

Off they come, shame about that dropped catch but Anderson trying to rescue England from a shocking batting performance for the what feels like billionth time.
