No way Dier is going unfortunately
Him leaving this summer was always on the cards, although I thought he would play in Belgium/Holland to be closer to home.
I presume he has been offered huge money in Qatar, so why not take one last huge pay day.
As for us, we are very likely to sign Romero plus Kounde/Lacroix/Anderson/Vestergaard. We also have Rodon and Tanganga.
Sanchez will be gone this summer. Fingers crossed that Dier won’t be playing CB anymore also.

So much going on but it does worry me all our CB targets have no prem experience. If Dier somehow manages to be here at the end of the window and Toby is gone that's a huge negative.

More hopeful on my part, either way he won’t be starting at CB if we land the targets. If winks and Sissoko go then maybe he moves back to CM where he is at least competent and could be a Hojbjerg rotation option.
So Atalanta buy Romero and sell him on for a profit to Spurs and replace him with another Juventus defender and Juventus can finally buy an Arsenal target.
In a round about way you're improving yourself and stopping your rival from improving.

Yeah a win win. If we are able to complete the Sanchez plus cash for Kounde deal as well then we will suddenly have a decent defence. With Tomiyasu coming in aswell that’s the right side sorted. Keep Kane 1 more year and add Ings (last year of contract) for relatively little and we could be a tough nut to crack again

Toby has been a great servant, but is now past his peak and £13m is the last chance to get some kind of decent fee for him.
Wish him all the best, but it is time to replace him with younger. It would be a good move for all parties, Toby gets one last pay day and Spurs get £13m into the coffers an his wages off the wage bill.
I think Dier will stay, but hopefully we can replace Sanchez also, giving us potential CB options of:
Rodon
Tanganga
Dier
Romero
Tomiyasu
Davies
New CB

Toby has been a great servant and been one of my fav defenders at our club in recent years but watching him at the recent Euros just showed how spent he was. Reluctant to commit and face any sort of pace, the hoofing when pressed, average ball distribution etc
Loved Toby and Vertonghen at their peak but we really need to move on.
If true then £13 mill is a good bit of business as long as it’s invested wisely. Let’s see.

He is, and we’ve wasted him the last 2 years, but he is starting to get really slow.
I also think he is very replaceable, therefore £13m seems reasonable in this market and hopefully we land Kounde as well as Romero, that will give us a very strong defence.
