If Kane stays then the hope is that we can add quality and build to a point where we become competitive again

We might but with a new defence and a new manager things will take time to gel. My hope for this season is still 6th in the league even if we get all the signings we are rumoured to be linked with.

Apparently Atalanta have turned down our €50m bid for Romero...
We definitely need 2 centre backs though

If you know anything about supporting Spurs then better to set your expectations low.

I think that the “Jose era” has created a negative mindset for a lot of Spurs fans however I don’t belive it’s anywhere near as bad as people make out.
It’s mainly our defence that needs sorting and if we do sign the talent that seems highly likely. Move on the deadwood and make a few astute signings combined with the talent we already have then I do not see any reason why we can’t challenge for Top 4 and back to CL football.
Mark my words - it’s going to be a great season!!!

I think that the “Jose era” has created a negative mindset for a lot of Spurs fans however I don’t belive it’s anywhere near as bad as people make out.
It’s mainly our defence that needs sorting and if we do sign the talent that seems highly likely. Move on the deadwood and make a few astute signings combined with the talent we already have then I do not see any reason why we can’t challenge for Top 4 and back to CL football.

For the record of I course I want us to do well but I got no issues with being cautious.
We may not beat Man City but that's not going to be a disaster.
I believe in Paratici and Nuno. It may take some time but i also believe in much of the talent we have at Spurs so if we can build a class defence then i feel we can achieve a lot.
Just need to persuade Kounde to come and swap with Sanchez
