People have an obsession with lists and direct comparisons. A majority of the time it's just asinine, it's a bit like trying to objectively decide who was better out of Lampard, Scholes and Gerrard. Plenty of people put Scholes at the bottom like that means anything at all.

Did he do a good job for us? Well yes, yes he did. I'll happily just concede that Gerrard was 'better' if it makes that princess feel happier. The fact of the matter is, he worked for us and did well. This sort of thing happens all the time, it's what I used to do at school, as I've grown up, I don't really care for it anymore unless it's a clear chasm. What's the real difference between the 7th best CB in the world and the 11th? And what metric(s) are used to seperate them?

He just wants the transfer window to end...

Oh what I really like about this whole Varane saga is that he actually wants to play for Manchester United.

I know this may be said multiple times before, but Ole's making this a factor in transfers has helped us tremendously
