With Sancho and Varane (seemingly) signed we can push up more as a team perhaps now and we'll have a better balance it seems. Perhaps, in that case, Pogba could work in the 2 most games. Even SAF would bring in the likes of Fletcher, Park etc to bolster the midfield in the big games.
Strengthening in midfield will be important for various reasons.
I just hope we'll see some improvement in the quality and consistency of our performances this season. If that happens we should come pretty close to winning the two biggest competitions. Even if we fall a bit short and don't win anything else it will still have been a good season.
Winning a domestic cup competition would be nice but it's not where a Manchester United manager should be judged as it's not necessarily a sign of progress as we've seen many times with Arsenal over recent years.
With the players we've added so far and the new coaches we've added, we've given ourselves a decent platform to improve on last season but the midfield really needs addressing.

Strengthening in midfield will be important for various reasons.
I just hope we'll see some improvement in the quality and consistency of our performances this season. If that happens we should come pretty close to winning the two biggest competitions. Even if we fall a bit short and don't win anything else it will still have been a good season.

To be fair we don't lose many with McFred in the middle but we draw quite a lot. An upgrade on what those two provide, with better quality on the ball, would be ideal IMO.
