Are none of you even a little bit open to the views of those a little apprehensive about the vaccine? Or is it just a full on attack for anyone not yet sure.

I'm not anti vax. However, I am uncertain about it and extremely wary. I have done alot of research and I believe the vaccine make no significant difference to spreading. I'd rather wait until I'm more informed without bias from mainstream media.

Interesting to see if anyone who is vaccinated feels the idea of a passport is improper. I guess, because you have all had it you don't care. But I feel this is extremely unethical.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No vaccine, no entry.

Bring on the vaccine passports now, I don’t want to be forced to share any enclosed space with any Covid denying anti vaxx loons.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

You have and the vaccine so you are all good. Plus the vaccine doesn't stop the spread significantly whatsoever. You won't change your mind

--------------------------------------------------------------------
Stop pushing false information and get off the anti vaxx websites.

The vaccine absolutely lessens the risk of transmission, hospitalisations and death.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Honestly I'm not anti vaccine. I also haven't been on any anti vax sites, not that I am aware of anyway.

I feel I could turn you comment round. Your media outlets are purely pro vaccine. I want a balanced view.

And I stand by what I said, i am yet to be convinced that the vaccine significantly stops the spread. Irrespective of what the the media say, the facts IMO do not prove it stops the spread. I get it reduces people being seriously ill with it and I'm not denying that.

You shouldn't be annoyed with people wary of having it.

I’m not angry with you, I just don’t want you to be one of those people who end up incubated on a ventilator begging for the vaccine when it’s too late.

Look, I am not going to argue. Like I say, I'm not saying I won't have it but I am far from certain and I am not as trusting as you. Based on my experience of what I have seen you post, I share alot of the same political beliefs as you so please don't think we are too dissimilar.

That said:

- I do not agree with medical discrimination, which is what passports will do.

- This week. There have been millions upon millions of people demonstrating against passports. But the media don't show it.

I have done more research than just the mainstream ones. It's hard to get a balanced view of this because of the pressure of media outlets having it provide only positive views on the vaccine. Often, any challenge to those vaccines are removed or at least made extremely hard to find.

- this post really is about the passports rather than the vaccine itself. For the vaccine itself, probably the best link with alot of challenges to it is this https://pastebin.com/qTZB6D5h

- However, love him or hate him I believe one of the best people to give some honest views or at least challenge the norm is Russel Brand. I find his short video on passports interesting. https://youtu.be/cAySEqiFDRk

As I say, I'm not ruling out having it. But I want to be as informed about it as possible.

Then speak to your doctor or the people at the vaccination centre.

Initially I was against the vaccine passports, but now I’m perfectly happy to be separated from the unvaccinated. I think they’re selfish, so if they can’t get into the same places as me, so be it, their choice.

You have been conditioned to think like that, that's my issue.

But I guess we will agree to disagree so no point in going ground in circles.

Vaccines work, this vaccine works and is completely safe, that’s all I need to f*cking know.

You’re speaking like some backwards superstitious nut job from the Middle Ages.

Grow up and get your jabs.

Society really needs to stop pandering to the f*cking unvaccinated superspreaders and get tough.

No football, no pubs, no clubs, and separate carriages on public transport for them.

It is absolutely not "completely safe". That is absolutely untrue and even looking at your own government data (available on their own website) shows it is not "completely safe". That's only short term issues we know of know.

Just because I don't share your view doesn't make me a nut job.

Democracy doesn't work where you aren't willing to listen or understand the views of others. But that's the way this has gone.

No one is "pandering" to me. If anything, I'd say its quite the opposite.

Irrespective of your views on the vaccine, the proposed covid password is nothing short of medical apartheid. It seems most people are accepting of this. I am not.

Meh, no concern of mine, two clicks on my phone and my vaccine passport is good to go.

Good luck to you. You don't seem willing to discuss any points I make accept make sweeping statements in often an aggressive manner. You can't discuss with people who aren't willing to discuss.

You are passionate with your view, I respect that. Good luck to you.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

That's fine. Considering the vaccine doesn't stop the spread, it's a very narrow minded view.

You agree with medical apartheid, that's fine. I don't.

That's the bottom line.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

From what I can see is that the link between covid and hospitalization and death has reduced.

But as for the vaccinations stopping the spread, the jury is still out on that so it is not definitive yet. Even in the USA they are keeping their mask mandates for vaccinated people for this very reason.

I find this debate really interesting because it raises some very interesting societal perceptions. Out of interest Automatic, are you pro-choice or pro-life?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Pro choice.

It’s your choice weather you get a vaccine or not, and it’s the venues choice if they want to let you in without providing proof of vaccination.

Get your jabs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That is correct. It's up to the venue.

Once the government step in and mandate it is where I would draw the line which is where it is going. Soon they'll ask for a 3rd and 4th jab too. I also feel for those healthy people that ran for the vaccine and lost their fingers and toes as well as their lives because of the blood clots.

Tbh, I think we'll see another 6-9 months of this and see this hysteria pass.

One thing I don't understand from this whole argument though is that if you're jabbed, and it's effective then why would you care who is around you. You're protected. I also don't understand how the UK hasn't already reached herd immunity with all the people getting jabbed already. I thought that number was 60-70% of the population.

So many questions but the answers never seem to add up.

It’s not 100% effective, it just lessens the risk of transmission, serious illness and death.
