Hart improves us, not that it’s difficult.

Him and the RB in along with Starfelt now available means no Barkas, Ralston or a young 18 year old boy. That’s a big improvement.

That said, fully expecting Trevor Carson and Stephen O’Donnell in the door instead.

Even when he is fit he continually broke down, strange signing for Hibs.

i think we will get beat due to our back line , what a test this is for Murray though ...hadnt even heard of the guy until this season and now hes looking to hold it together against a wily European team

perhaps this is the game that Barkas comes good in ? i sincerely hope it is Barkas we play and not Bain

Middle to front celtic have more quality than the Danes.

Celtic had a weak defence (and ten men for part of the game) in the first leg and Midtjylland still barely troubled them. The reality is the Danes arent very good.

I think celtic will sneak through this one.

Question lads - why does the boy Hjevle (spelling) not get a game?

I read Murray is a natural midfielder who has been convered to centre back this summer and if so that's a big enough transition without being thrown in to the first team. But you have that boy Hjelve who is highly rated and held his own with Ross County last season. Clearly you would still want to upgrade on that but for a game like tonight surely he's a better option? Or is Murray better?

Murray was never a midfielder. Occasionally RB but never mid.

Hjelde - first off he hasn't played much. Issues getting him started, put in the reserves before players ahead were shipped on loan, injury, rotation then covid hit and he went home. Came back and went on loan at RC and played with decent reviews so he actually has some first team PL experience.

No idea what has happened but Murray being promoted above him and then him being dumped into the B team or looking to move. Unfortunately, it is what happens if you look for a move - down the squads you go lad.

Reality for Murray is once Starfelt and whoever else is signed / fit he aint getting a game and he can't play for the B team afaik which is his natural place unless someone really really thinks he's the next KT? Don't get me wrong, he's a good player and him and Morrison were treated as the golden boys but they all get to a place where they need to play.

I'm astounded he's got the nod over Hjelde tbh though neither are ready. The B team is playing a LB / mid <6' at CB albeit he got decent reviews playing for Clyde on loan.

They did very well to get to the CL at all last season but I think they are missing some of their best players from then.

Their main man in midfield just went to Brentford for a rumoured £20m.

And the one player that impressed against us was the big boy Sory Kaba up top and he is in dispute with the club because he is trying to force a move. So he isnt paying right now.

The boy who played up top instead (I think the one that elbowed Biton) looked pretty useless.

And I think theres a couple more key guys from last season missing. Four in total I think it was.

Maybe they will be better than last week - I am only going by what I saw then. And even against ten men the Danes offered very little.

Silver fair enough, haven't seen Murray just read he had been a midfielder but that would make more sense. I saw Hjelde last season at RC a couple of times and for his age was very impressed. He looked more than capable at Premiership level so was just surprised that given your shortages he wasn't called upon ahead of some others.

Think it is only fair this gets posted on the Scottish boards - zach, mate - you have a bedfellow...

I got knocked back by a midget ( not sure of the PC term form a short person?) back in the early 90s at a house party when my mate hooked up with her friend (not a midget), it was more me wondering what it would be like but it still stung and the other half dozen or so mates I was with both saw and heard it.

It still gets mentioned on an almost weekly basis in one form or another all these years later
