Spurs would do well to get this one over the line quickly. Seen a bit of Romero and he's looked decent for Atalanta and would be a good signing. Barca's financial issues might be of concern, but if they get someone else off the wage bill, you could put good money on them getting this transfer through.

We all know deep down that if he’s worth 40mil, we will spend 15mil each on two players who aren’t as good.
There was reporting the other day about the Plan B to Romero being Milenkovic and the Japanese lad. This is what we will end up with. Could both be great or just two average players we will moan about. We’ve been here before.
As for Alistair “ I understand it’s going to be a busy week, I’m led to believe” Gold, I wouldn’t trust him more than 50%
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I would wager good money that Romero will be a Spurs player by the end of the window. Who plays alongside him is my only concern as I think we might buy an average player for that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Milenkovic or Tomiyasu
Spurs won't be signing Romero. Not sure why supporters get their hopes up.
Probably be going in against City with CCV judging by the amount of pre season he is getting. Nuno must be seeing something.

He is playing for Japan in the Olympics. I read somewhere it would be disrespectful to his team mates and team to announce a transfer whilst they are still in the tournament (cultural customs, the japanese are uptight) plus a medical will be pending if a fee is agreed and he had an injury.

When I saw Dons article the other day about coming around on our situation I was surprised that any fan, particularly Don, would think there was any reason to be cutting the THFC hierarchy any slack.
This summer has so far been an unmitigated disaster. We have signed a GK that we didn’t need, and a 20 year old winger that we didn’t need. We have just sold our best defender and are currently looking at a starting CB pair of Dier and Sanchez when the season starts in 16 days. We haven’t addressed a single problem in the squad, and any players we do bring in will be last minutes buys starting with zero pre season with Nuno. And this on top of us taking 3 months to hire a 5th choice manager that had been out of work for 2 months himself by the time we settled on him.
The only tiny positives are Son signing a new deal and Lamela being gotten off the books.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
To be honest Ace I wrote that article after the Ally Gold article pretty much saying Romero is close to being finalised. I tried for a bit of positivity and looks like once again, we are being let down by the hierarchy messing around. Sold our best defender and we haven’t replaced him, shambles. Can’t believe we are going into the season with Sanchez and Dier
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Mate Gold has fack all insider info, the only accurate stuff he puts out is stuff the club want him to know, he’s a journo not an ITK, I pay no attention to anything he says anymore.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Surely not? Don told me last week that he is the Spurs guru and if he hasn't confirmed something it isn't true.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
God, you hang around the Spurs board every day like a bad smell don’t you ?
This deal smells of Levy refusing to dig that bit deeper, it's probably over a few million and as per usual baldy bollix will feck it up.

I hang around a public, multi board football forum designed for discussing football. You want a Spurs only forum, I am sure there are plenty.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I reckon GTW just loves football and wants to see his own team doing bits in the transfer market but they are very quiet(probably because they are skint like everyone else). He is just being a nosey neighbour looking over the fence at dirty milf sunbathing whilst his own mrs is in the toilet have her 3rd dump of the morning.
Doubt it’ll be a popular opinion, but I bet we’re lining everything up to tally in with the Kane sale.
What I mean by that is, we’ll likely see a number of signings being made in a very short space of time either before or after Kane is sold.

Surely not? Don told me last week that he is the Spurs guru and if he hasn't confirmed something it isn't true.

God, you hang around the Spurs board every day like a bad smell don’t you ?

This deal smells of Levy refusing to dig that bit deeper, it's probably over a few million and as per usual baldy bollix will feck it up.

If he being fed info from the club that means he has a good contact within. His infomation is still worth reading about. He can't be blamed if Levy decides to change the goal post at the last minute can he?

Spurs won't be signing Romero. Not sure why supporters get their hopes up.
Probably be going in against City with CCV judging by the amount of pre season he is getting. Nuno must be seeing something.

Hi, do you think Martinez doesn’t fancy Romero?

Has Rodon played any part of pre season? I can't remember seeing him involved, is he injured?
Really think he has huge potential. If we signed Romero I'd have no problems seeing Rodon lining up with him.

I hang around a public, multi board football forum designed for discussing football. You want a Spurs only forum, I am sure there are plenty.
