What do I need to research? We handled COVID well but sadly we’re victims of our own success. There is zero herd immunity here and the lack of vaccine take up is something that has made things a little tricky here to say the least. We’re a case study in just how contagious this thing is.

Moderna isn’t that common because we only ordered 16m doses of them and they were delivered about 2 months ago. An ex colleague from work got one and he was in bed for a whole day with a high fever.

I think that’s fair.
We knew the disaster going into last season, nothing they could do about it, and they brilliantly recovered.
I want us to hit the ground running day one, I don’t want to hear ‘we are a couple weeks away from where we should be’
That’s all I’m saying..

We'll be two or three weeks away from where we should be when the season kicks off. Players need rest, and you can't magic them back to full sharpness in a week or two. If they get pushed too hard now we'll all be complaining about how jaded they are at the end of the season.

What do I need to research? We handled COVID well but sadly we’re victims of our own success. There is zero herd immunity here and the lack of vaccine take up is something that has made things a little tricky here to say the least. We’re a case study in just how contagious this thing is.

Moderna isn’t that common because we only ordered 16m doses of them and they were delivered about 2 months ago. An ex colleague from work got one and he was in bed for a whole day with a high fever.

3 weeks off, knowing you are coming back for 2 games, don’t sound right to me.

I think that’s fair.
We knew the disaster going into last season, nothing they could do about it, and they brilliantly recovered.
I want us to hit the ground running day one, I don’t want to hear ‘we are a couple weeks away from where we should be’

We'll be two or three weeks away from where we should be when the season kicks off. Players need rest, and you can't magic them back to full sharpness in a week or two. If they get pushed too hard now we'll all be complaining about how jaded they are at the end of the season.
