I think United might be relegated and I think there's a strong chance we'll be the first to change manager, especially now that fans are back and we'll get booed off the park every week because our football is turgid.
Stephen Glass might be an outside bet for managerial change, but he's mates with the chairman so will probably get time.

I've seen a few people tip United for the drop Ivan but you have retained most of the same team from last year have you not?
I think Mulgrew's experience makes a difference and having a goalscorer like Shankland will also help. I think you will be bottom 6 but those couple of individual qualities is probably more than some of the other teams round about you.
I also don't see Courts getting sacked as his appointment seems to be motivated by finances so unless there's real danger of the drop I think he's there to steady the ship for a while.

I have the might Arabs as favorites for the league with the 2 OF being relegated.
Rangers will win the league but 2nd place is very much up for grabs between Hibs, St Johnstone and Dundee. Celtic are an outside bet for 2nd if they get their act together. It is difficult to see anyone breaking the dominance of Rangers and St Johnstone this season though. They seem to win every trophy that's up for grabs. Mainly St Johnstone but both teams are good.

He is running a plc (albeit a relatively small one) which is a football club (in fairness a relatively big one).
He has no experience of either.
He has been the office boy at the SRU since his midtwenties. Basically collecting subs from fermers. He has very limited business experience.
He agreed to take the job while lawwell stayed on the board. That's not good.
As far as I understand, no search was conducted and no other candidate was even interviewed.
I don't like his face.
I didn't like him posing with Ange in London, talking to some in the 'Celtic blogsphere', then disappearing.
I don't believe you get to run the SRU without being a mason.
Probably best if I stop there

We've lost McNulty who was mainly pash but came on to a game towards the end of the season, while Connolly is out with a serious injury (although he's pash too).
We're extremely focused on giving young players a chance this season which is part of the reason for giving Courts the gig. I'm not sure we have the players around them to support them during what is likely to be a difficult season.
I think we stayed up because we had an excellent goalkeeper last season. If he goes to Celtic, which I believe will happen, that puts us in trouble.

I have the same concerns about Ange that you shared earlier mate but I'm certainly prepared to back him until it becomes totally apparent that he's a dud.
he's been let down big time, but i expected no less.
it's become an art form that they have some celtic fans who will argue that we do sign players but miss the point entirely.

season starts tomorrow and we don't have anything other than a rw ready to go.
