Yeah hopefully he proves me wrong but there’s just nothing to suggest he can turn back the years and we haven’t got the time or money to be taking that chance. Equally we don’t have time for bain and barkas to be in either but neither of these are good options.

My thoughts exactly. Wanted him last season when it was blindingly obvious that Forster was happy to be third choice on serious brass than prove what a good keeper he could be.

And I don’t blame him for it but he’s yet another we hung on for way past the sensible time scale.

Joe Hart could be good. He could be exceptional but I think it's just as likely he's rotten.

Joe Hart is a really strange signing imo.

Binned by Pep because he can’t play the sweeper keeper role. Proneness to blunders. Bit of a big preening d11ck if we are being honest.

Plus he’s hardly played for 3 years.

Not saying you couldn’t pull a rabbit out of the hat with i Hart - but he is deffo a left field choice.

Saying he is better than Barkas or Bain is all well and good - he might be better but does that make him good enough or the right fit? Right now I would have thought Celtic required a bit of solid reliability rather than a gamble on a guy who divided opinions even in his prime. Which was about 5-6 years ago 😳
