I’m not too keen on the idea of bonus points. A 1-0 win is sometimes as good as a 4-0 win, granted goal difference can matter of course.

What I would like to see is zero points for a 0-0 draw!

Goalless draws giving nil points to both teams.

Yes! Such a good idea dude

Yup. I'd go along with the 0-0 idea.

Still leaves the old Arsenal mentality ofvsitting on a 1-0 lead.

Often thought about the one point that goes missing when a game is drawn.

There should be some opportunity for that point to be earned somehow.

Maybe a pen shootout for every drawn game. Winner gets the extra point.

You can't win games with the low block?

setting up with intention of not losing would be eradicated if it wasn't rewarded unless you won

Love it. 😂

Why stop there?

If your team costs £300m and you draw 0-0 with a team that cost £30m, you get deducted 3 points

3 Pts for the win
2 Pts for score draw
1 Pt for 0-0
0 Pts for a loss.

The no points for a 0-0 draw wouldn't work IMO and is unfair. A good defensive or GK performance deserves to be rewarded IMO.

Also in games where it was 0-0 with a few mins to go the teams would allow each other to score as a point is much better than none.

Point for one team to get top 4 and the other to escape relegation.

Would they? Why would the team that gets the first goal then allow an equaliser when they could hang on for a win?

Because the arrangement would be made before kick off and somebody has to score first.

If it was a legit goal then it goes without saying that the team who had scored would try to hang on for the win.

Sure but what's the stop the team that scores first going back on the arrangement?
