Whichever way you slice it, it's an embarrassing result.

For all we know Nuno put on a training session before the game today just to improve the fitness of the squad but still, awful result. Not exactly terminal though.

But it's great for Pacos de Ferreira and there will be some fan over there who cleaned up at the bookies and is having a proper knees up... and that's football.

Last seasons 3-0 loss to Zagreb after being 2-0 up in the first leg was embarrassing. Last night we played a load of debutants, kids and players the club is actively looking to sell this summer. I believe it was very clear that the plan is to stay fresh for next week where we have Wolves away followed by the Pacos and Watford at home.

I suspect we will line up much stronger next week. If we get good results in all 3 then Nuno will be vindicated. But the Pacos result is not an embarrassing one at this stage, it’s only half time.

I can only assume there ARE just two west ham fans out there, or these are the two that can actually write.
