Tottenham to accelerate talks over Adama Traore. Deal could end up being a loan with a view to a permanent £40m move or a series of small staggered payments like Liverpool structured for Jota #thfc

my view - he is a dangerous player and IF and its a huge IF, he could finally add some end product to his game he would instantly be world class, because of his skill pace and strength.

not sure about 40m, but as a squad option, I'm not mad at it. you just need to play to his strengths.. so he might be good off the bench in big away games.

even though I know that he has no end product, I was still terrified every time he got the ball yesterday, and that probably says something.

Bring him in! Absolutely terrifies defences. He completely destroyed Tanganga yesterday.

I’d assume that he would play on left and Son would push up with Kane.

Would be very happy with this singing

Fingers crossed. He absolutely frightens the life out of defenders.

I like him and think he would be a great signing as he could be proper back up to Kane or play out wide instead of Lucas

Like you say he could be our Antonio….reminds me of him but even quicker

Not to mention if we did sign him i won’t have to panic every time we play against him when he is running at our defence ….he scares me!

He gets bums off seats. More effective than Moura and teams could double up against him to create space for others.

He reminds me of Aaron Lennon. A player that was often criticised for not enough end product but always a player you would rather have running at opposition defences and not your own.

At £40m we could d a lot worse but we do seem a bit overloaded on wingers - Son, Lucas, Bergwijn, Gil.

I'd rather a better players through the core of the team if funds are limited.

Yeah exactly what I just said chronic …..everytime he picked the ball up yesterday I had my heart in my mouth

Maybe also to do with our defence is so bad as well as him being so powerful with his skill

Stevie B is improving. he just badly needs to improve his end product. he has so much ability. that piece of skill he did on the touch line yesterday was class

Abit like when we signed Son. Everyone thought he was a winger then on the club's official website they listed him as a forward.

Son scored goals though but I get your point

I'd be proper up for this signing if we didn't have significantly more pressing issues to address, especially at the fee being touted for him.

What benefit is it to wolves to loan him to us

If Kane stays, then possibly get Traore. I think his problem is that he is moving so quickly that his brain gets left behind.
He is the second fastest behind Kyle Walker in the PL.

Personally I think we will see the best of Bergwijn this season.

Would not mind Raul Jimenez at Spurs though, great football brain and seems to be fully fit again.

We were interested in Traore when he was at ‘boro...

With him bulldozing through the opposition, if will surely create space for Som & Kane..

Hopefully we’d be able to chuck some deadwood in with the deal....

If it is a loan with an obligation to buy for £40m they are guaranteed £40m. He doesn't want to sign so in a year's time he could be worth less with one year remaining on his contract. That's my guess...

It’s a no from me.

Do we need another winger / wide forward? No - we have Stevie, Moura, Son and Gill.

Is he really that good? Hmmm... he’s quick and powerful but doesn’t always know what to do with it. He’s not what you’d call top quality is he?!

Do we need other positions more? Absolutely yes! We need a creative CM so so badly and a striker. Possibly a RB. Of all the positions, we need to strengthen ‘wide forwards’ the absolute least!

I’d get it if he was some incredible player who we’d be mad to turn down, but other than being really quick, what does he bring us?!

If he had an end product he would be worth more than £40m. He can learn and is still young enough to.

I absolutely bloody love Adama. The guy is a freak. He lacks a bit of composure and finesse for sure but he beats his man so often that even if his cross conversion rate is terrible, he still gets so many chances to cross that eventually one will stick.

He's much better on the right generally cos he's not a natural finisher so cutting in from the left isn't his strength. Equally he's the sort of player you basically put on whichever side the opponent has their weaker/slower full back so he can bulldoze them.

Him and Bryan on opposite flanks with a physical striker would be fun. Not sure he'd work especially well with Son and I'm definitely not sure he's what Spurs need, but man would it be fun to watch.
