Is there a Scenario When Kane Stays

This is/was the year for him to leave. He's 29 next year and Levy will still want 90/100m for him which no one will do for a 29 year old. Plus Haaland is available.

I just think he really wants a new challenge and if he does stay and the club wins something, he would see it as a nice bow on his Spurs resume rather than a reason to stay - job done.

It's his own fault for signing such a long contract, though tbf he was probably so invested in Spurs that he believed they'd be winning trophies by now.

I'm not sure why people keep saying City don't need Grealish.

It's pretty clear Pep wants to be able to play with two number 8's and it's common knowledge Bernado wants to leave.

If Man City were deadly serious about signing Kane, they wouldn’t have signed Grealish beforehand...

No way in a million years, will they pay the asking fee... no club will...

Most of the country are bored of this transfer speculation by now...especially as the media keep going on & on about it all the time... it’s pathetic!!

I think it looks more likely right now that Kane doesn’t leave. City don’t appear to want to pay the money

Wether Kane stays or not surely there has to be plans to bring in a back-up striker, total madness how our recruitment system works

Even playing on the left, it’s obvious he gives us something we were missing too, I don’t get it either.

There's definitely a scenario where he stays. If he's determined to stay in the PL and City wait for Haaland that just leaves United. And even with their revenues it's a big commitment.

Once he's 30 and we've (hopefully) won something i don't see where he goes at all.

If he stays and has another great season, then clubs will still be interested despite being 1 year older, and they won't have to pay as much. Chances are he'll still want to leave for me even if we win a cup.

You're forgetting the Levy tax.

I think united days of spending mega money on old player's is done. Kane will be too old to command a huge fee despite levy still insisting on one. Kane will knuckle down of he doesn't get his move but the situation won't end it'll just delay it for another window.

This is probably what ManCity are thinking.
Truth is Kane should have left a year ago.
And he should never have trusted Levy with an unwritten agreement, although his brother probably did that!

He will be known as the best soccer player never to have won anything.
It happens in all sports.
Ken Rosewall is known as the best tennis player never to have won Wimbledon.

Tom Finney didn`t win anything. Stanley Matthews only won medal. Ron Clarke never won an Olympic Gold. Medals are not everything. All three will be remembered forever.
