Replays show Neves clearly fouled as well. No surprise we didn't get that

Whats the actual point of var
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Ridiculous isn't it. You would think plain as day video technology couldn't be fecked up but here we are.

The point is that VAR was not even mentioned, so as Tino says what's the point of VAR.
You can bet your bottom dollar that if it had been the other way round it would have had the goal disallowed.
Clear and obvious.

Zero doubt that goal is disallowed down the other end

No question Neves was fouled. To be fair to Mike Dean he was 6 foot away from the incident so difficult for him to see from such a long way away. Maybe he could have looked at var to make sure.

Having said that it was poor keeping from Sa to not keep out the shot.

But for a large part of the game we completely outplayed United and no exaggeration to say we could easily have been 4 goals ahead after 20 minutes. Of course you have to be able to finish in this game and despite a remarkable number of shots in the first three games, one of the highest in the league, we haven’t converted one. Traore, Trincao and Neves all carved United apart, and what we really need is for Jimenez to slot back into gear after his long lay off.

Has to be encouraging to have played so well against 3 of the better teams in the division and after the break we play Watford, Brentford, Southampton and Newcastle when we will probably have even more shots.

Well pizzed off with that!. I was chatting to a Man U fan in the bar before the game. After the final whistle I went over to him and asked, "Honestly, do yo think you deserved that?"
His reply was, "I've been bursting for a pizz for half an hour but I was too embarrassed to go past you to the toilet"

Mike Dean is a corrupt How many more times do we have to suffer the biased decisions of this egotistical prat? It's time his licence was taken away, he is unfit to referee anything above Sunday League. No wonder he has death threats in the past, he is a despicable individual.

Fair play to him

I don't know how often this will happen, not too often I hope but . . .

For two consective Sundays I have been to Molineux and witnessed the better team lose, 0-1 to a dubious goal.

It is difficult to say that we deserved a win today, any more than we did against Spurs, if you don't take your chances you don't deserve the points. That said on the balance of play over our 3 league games against 3 "top" sides, 7 points would have been fair and 9 would not have been totally unjust. On that basis we could so easily have been sitting 4th in the table, or even top.

On the other hand, I'm not too disheartened, we have played well for 5 of the 6 halves of football, and the style of football definitely looks exciting. I just hope we can play as well in the up coming matches against some of the "lesser" teams.

That's 85 attempts on goal now since we started playing Bruno ball.
Still zero goals!

Sorry, correction.
57 attempts and no goals in the league.

Actually 4 goals for 85 attempts doesn't look much better

Not convinced that the foul on Neves was a clear and obvious error by Dean, but I'd bet that if it had been the other way he would have blown. Thing is we've got to start taking our chances, I'd sacrifice all the positive stats for a few goals and some bloody points.

Surprised you didn’t see that as a clear error by Dean. 50:50 ball and Neves got the ball and Pogba got Neves, with an over the ball challenge. A sure fire foul and yellow card I would have thought

Be interesting to see the Wolves team selection in two weeks time.

Up front Trincao and Traore will be competing with Podence and Hwang.

In defence we should have Boly and Mosquera fit and the likelihood of a new signing.

Starts to look like the squad could be more suited to 4231 than 343. And if so, what does that mean for Coady

Oldgoldilox the other week Greenwood was smashed in the face on the edge of the box and no freekick was given and then Southampton scored after rugby fouling Fernandes then kicking his legs really hard and then getting the ball lol. The clearest 2 fouls of the game both ignored by the ref. Some refs would even give red cards for both incidents.

I am still baffled how the Southampton goal stood, 2 clear fouls and no attempt to even try to win the ball. Even an ex ref was in disbelief how that goal stood as it was a straightforward clear foul lol. Pogba should have been done today but it was far less a foul then the one on Fernandes last week which had way more contact on two occassions.

Just seen the blatant wipe out of Trincao after the shot saved on the line as well, was James i think. It really is outrageous.

You should have seen the ref in the Southampton game, Greenwood smashed in the face, clear foul on edge of the box and ref just waved it on as nothing happened lol. Players get red cards for doing such things. Even your own player said Pogba got away with it as Southampton game clear fouls were ignored in build up to Southampton goal so they had to be consistent lol.

Wolves were the best side we faced in a long time as rarely in away games we get outplayed. Its like one of the rare occassions a team has gone for us. Strangely enough we struggle for clean sheets away from home but this was like one of our worst games and we kept a clean sheet lol. We usually we concede virtually no chances against us in away games and concede and today we concede tons of chances and don’t.

We could have played all week and probably not scored, so frustrating right now, Raul isn't getting the chances fall to him either.

Interested to see how Ronaldo fits in for you guys.

Happy with us though, very happy, not playing defensively at all and still not conceding goals, or legit ones, even the Spurs pen was a joke. Goals will come and maybe a top ten finish, I would have taken that at the start given the transition.

turns out the tackle on Neves made a loud noise heard around part of the ground and Dean grimaced as the tackle went in as well

You couldn't make it up

It looked like a clear foul, & players on both sides momentarily stop expecting the foul to be given. I can see why Dean missed it from his angle, but am shocked when VAR missed it when they see the same angles we saw. It's at clear & obvious as 'holy s**t those high studs could have broke his leg' obvious. It was not malicious or intentional...just a routine foul. No different to Neves kick in the face of Fernandes. Also with that it was hard to tell if there was actual contact...no war wound to see or spouting blood, just Fernandez milking the potential agony he almost suffered. Again, whether there's contact or injury is not the point. It was a dangerous albeit accidental tackle from Neves so just a routine foul, just as Pogba's was.

Great performance though. However, the game was ultimately lost because we let in a saveable shot and they didn't.

Or, the ref missed a clear and obvious foul and was backed up by VAR.
