He’s got an ok goal record. In a side he will given more space I can see him being a 10-15 goal a season player. Bit like Lingard really.

No bloody way. Average player and 32 now. I’m not fully onboard with the Ronaldo signing but it’s Ronaldo. We need to be moving forward not back.

It'll be good for all parties concerned if he did leave. United is simply not his level. He needs to refocus and restart his career at a club that suits him. Actually think he'll do okay at a club like Leeds. Wish him the best wherever he goes. He's been a top proffessional.

Good to hear as Leicester were strongly linked and this means he won’t be coming here.

You can't say we need to move forward when we have quite a few OAPs in our ranks. Ole is clearly trying to get that monkey of his back by winning something this season, hence all the OAPs

The squad has a good mix of experience, youth and serial winners.

The measure is, is he any better than Fred or any of our CMs? Defo Fred!

He’s better than Matic but I’d argue when Fred plays well he’s better than Herrera. Ander was majorly overrated by some of our fans.

Must have missed that rare game where Fred played well, error free, for 90 minutes!

Fred does have some raw ingredients of a CM player, pace, good stamina, bags of enthusiasm but for me lacks a footy brain, probably can't follow instructions, lacks a good reading of the game and lacks the ability to control our tempo. He panics under pressure.

His passing is on and off, on a good day his short passes are clean and precise, on a bad day it's an assist for the opposition!
