Liverpool brought in one player. Whilst allowing 4 or 5 to go. Liverpool squad has always been lacking. Injury to VVD/Salah/Mane and they could struggle again.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Look at their injuries last season and still they achieved top 4. Liverpool are head and shoulders above us I’m sorry to say with their full team.

Sorting the right back situation was a priority as Tanganga offers minimal attacking threat down that side. Lets hope though our Royal acquisition can defend! From Twatter reaction, many Barca fans not happy he was leaving so perhaps a good sign.

If we play with the same midfield of Skipp and hojbjerg with both offering limited flair or attacking threat then we might loose less games but not sure where our goals will come from. We were truly devoid of ideas on Sunday. Getting Ndombele fit and head in a good space should be Nuno's priority.

I predict 6-8th finish and probably get to the Semis of Conference cup!

Sure but they lost Wijnaldum & Shaqiri. Henderson isn’t getting any younger. Like I said they get injuries they are snookered. They back ups wouldn’t get a game for Wolves or Everton.

4th & FA cup.

This would be in line with Nuno's opening seasons at other clubs he's managed, so not discounting it - but which of last year's top 4 do you think might drop out?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I’ll get back to you on that!

You wont win the Conference league because all the other teams want it more and respect it more than Spurs will ever do. You class this as a complete farce, will the other teams in it will play their hearts out to win the thing.

they also said Kane was going to City, so what do they know.

Not one media outlet has said this ever. They said everything possible but never claimed Kane was going to City. But you love a good moan about the media, just like your sock account Steve F

Liverpool will lose Salah, Mane, Matip and Keita to the AFCON in the new year

5th or 6th, simply because there are much better squads than ours, an achievement would be to make the Europa main league next season

As always, our problem will be trying to overcome the positive media spin and favouritism of referees shown to Varchester Penited and Varpool.

City and Chelsea are nailed on for top 4, but the other 2 places are up for grabs, and Spurs would have a great chance if the officials did their jobs properly and consistently, which they won't.

Spurs suffer negative media spin, hence why our squad is under rated, likewise the positive media spin surrounding the 2 darling clubs from the Northwest, creates a false perception.

WTF are on you about here? WOW

So you agree with the media about the general consensus the top 4 teams will finish in the top 4?!!

But then you get the violin out for poor old Spurs for receiving, what in your mind is negative attention even though you have stated Levy has left us short therefore we will not challenge for the title.

What a mess.

3 big ifs will define our season:

Kane and Son staying fit
The defence keeping up its current high standards
2 of Ndombele, Dele and Lo celso hitting top gear

If the planets align and we get all 3 of those things then 4th is possible. I would just like to see us be cynical and sack off the domestic cups and try and win the euro cup and go flat out in the league.

The euro cup shouldn’t really affect the first team too much. We probably need to go relatively strong against Rennes, but can then go much weaker against Vitesse and Mura. Win the group and we go straight into the round of 16 and are seeded, we most likely will be able to go relatively weak in that round. That takes us to the Quarters where we may have to start putting our strongest side out (even that’s not definite) at which point it’s 5 extra games if we make the final. We should be going for this big time.

I would say it’s acceptable to lose to Roma, other than that and yes we will be a laughing stock. Got to take it seriously in the latter rounds though - usually our undoing. I mean we were CL finalists 3 years ago, if we take this seriously we can definitely win it.

If you genuinely believe referees are corrupt and biased towards certain clubs, why do you even bother following football? What's the point if you think it is all rigged?

We'll get top 4 if we're good enough, simple as that.

Not from me there will not be, and there shouldn`t be from any Spurs supporters. Who gives a feck what opposition supporters think.

There are five better teams in the league, arguably six given West Ham's form albeit they will struggle with fixture pile up.

I want Nuno to do well, I want Spurs to do well, but as much as United might not gel/Liverpool might get an injury or two/Leicester and West Ham might struggle... All of those things are true of Spurs too.

I don't see Spurs finishing higher than 6th, and I doubt they'll get over the line in the Euro Conference. I suppose if they do manage either, I'll be pleasantly surprised.

Why are you so negative? Spurs have made a decent start to the season, and will only get better in my opinion.
