Donny's agent

Oles handling of Donny is truly baffling given the otherwise positive vibes surrounding the club.

Ole should play someone who's done almost nothing, just for the vibes? What part of it baffles you?

There's simply no space for him in the first 11. Bruno is nailed on 1st choice in Donny's favoured position, and the jury is very much out as to whether Donny can perform the kind of role Ole wants as part of the '2'.

It's difficult to see where he's likely to actually get the minutes. And it's a self-perpetuating issue, because he's not going to be able to make an impact or play himself into form without a run in the team.

To we honest, we don’t owe him a thing. We want to be in the business of winning titles, and if he doesn’t fit the bill then I’m sure he will be moved on next summer.

If Ole wants to compete on all fronts, you may see DVB used in cup competitions more than anything.

The fact that Donny doesnt and never has had the same opourtinities afforded to Lindelof, Fred, Matic, and Martial, players who have been poor for lengthy periods.

He really must not possess any qualities in training that show he can be part of the deeper midfield 2. Obviously he won't be getting a run of games in Brunos position, other than the domestic cups depending on opposition, and he deserves more than that (on reputation) so he should leave, I don't understand why we wouldn't let him go on loan tbh.

It is baffling you cretin. Not everything has to be you defending the manager ffs. After the performance Fred gave our last game and game before, he should be dropped from the squad never mind the starting 11. Top top midfielders during their days are scratching their head at how Fred is still playing.

The player has done nothing because he has had limited playing time to do anything. This is not quantum physics, pretty easy to get

Donny could very much play the Fred / McTominay role.

Seems an ill-fitting choice for United whichever MF position he plays.

Reckon it was a case of us wanting another body in midfield but options 1,2 and 3 weren't attainable so we decided on option 4 because he was gettable immediately at a reasonable price.

Reckon he'll be going out on loan somewhere in January and won't come back.

Probably sold back to Ajax for a sizeable loss in the future.

Well, he doesn’t posses the qualities of a deeper midfielder.

If he plays, it’s surely in Bruno’s role? Maybe LW where we have more competition than anywhere else in the squad.

I dont see how you can say he is ill fitting given his lack of oppurtunities and the poor performances of Matic and Fred.

He shouldn’t be promised anything, we now also have Lingard fighting for minutes. Cant see it happening myself.

I wonder what the reaction would have been if this was Mourinho who was in charge of United and not playing Van de Beek. Genuine question.

But he was promised it last season too according to his agent and didn’t get much then either.

I thought Donny had been signed basically so that he could give Bruno a rest at times. Didn’t make much sense to me beyond that.

From what I know of him, I’m not convinced he’s cut out for the deeper role at all. Not really sure what’s going to happen here, nor even what to hope for. All a bit strange really.

There would be uproar. More uproar if he keeps starting Fred and Mcsuace. You will see comments like anti football Mourinho ruining another creative player

One of the best football I saw us player last year, think vs Everton Donny was playing. Him, pogba and Bruno on same wave, popping the ball all over the park. Following game, he gets dropped.

If Ole wants to persist with 4231, I'm sure Donny can play next to Fred or McT. For one, at least he's able to pass the ball and find space, something Fred and McT are shocking at. He's not going to play amazing if he's given 60 minutes after every 10 games. How are you supposed to get match sharpness playing a match here and there. We're crying about having a terrible midfield when we have a half decent one already in the squad that isn't given a chance.
