Unfortunately llorente is made of glass.
I hope Roberts gets his act together but I kind of doubt it. Cooper not nearly good enough, a liability.
Alioski is a huge miss but firpo will be ok.
Dallas won't replicate last seasons form but he's not a problem.
Bringing Roberts on for Rodrigo was a real heart sinking moment for me as I couldn't see how that was going to improve us.
It is the midfield we are being dominated in every league game so far.
Shackleton or Klich were needed and James should have replaced Harrison much sooner irrespective of the sending off as Harrison was totally ineffective against Liverpools high quality defenders..
Against Newcastle I suspect Bielsa will play Ayling with Cooper and have Dallas at RB.
For the love of God I hope he doesn't persist with Roberts or Rodrigo at 10 and plays Shacks or Klich or actually both alongside KP with James instead of Harrison. Newcastle is a crunch game, lose that and we are in the brown stuff good and proper.
We were totally outclassed today which I know you expect Liverpool to have better players but not better hustling and closing down and energy and our ball control was sloppy and we looked disjointed from the start.
Bielsa yet again sets up too exposed in midfield and makes poor subs against the top teams.
He has been our saviour and I love him but sometimes he doesn't half do my head in with his selections and we are then asking to get real thumpings and so far we have had 2 out 4. At this rate we will be getting another 17 embarrassing defeats.
We are not looking like the swashbuckling entertainers we did last season. Something isn't right and Im starting to think it's the pressure of the fans being back.
The defence looks nervy and Bamford nearly scored a worldy today but other than that his control was rubbish yet again, despite his good runs. To me Bamford will struggle to score double figures this season. I hope he proves me wrong.

This season, we're a gift for teams, we're naive, we need a plan b etc etc.
We can talk about the tough start, but we gave these teams a run for their money last season except manu, and even then we still created more than we did this season.

Now we're seeing exactly why.

We don’t have the players or the capacity to beat the top 6….. 2/4 games against champions league teams. 2/4 against well established teams in PL and we got a point each after being behind to show great character

We were up against a team that we gave a great run for their money last season and then at home we could have won 3/4 -1 the amount of stops their keeper made and we hit bar.
We've regressed in our ability to compete with the teams we aspire to mingle with.
Today first of all.......
Outplayed by one of the four sides that will contest the title. They are an improved side this season. Never expected more than a point. If Rodrigo finishes that early chance then we have a foothold in the game and something to defend. First 15-20 minutes I thought we were fine and matching them. Unfortunately after that it was men against boys for large parts of the game and we were on the ropes. Red card? Considering the new laws introduced this season i dont see that as a red card. I cant even see a foul and as many have found on here I am extremely neutral when it comes to reviewing referee decisions. Its an unfortunate injury but you cant just give red cards out because a young lad is injured. I dont think it changes the game and if anything it may have helped us as Liverpool arguably took their foot of the gas a little. If we appeal i fully expect the red card will be reversed. This takes me on the the season so far.
We are 0-4 on key decisions now this season which hasnt helped our start to the season. I am not one to bemoan referees, again as you will all know. Key decisions will hopefully balance out as the season progresses.
Pascal red card. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tfkz0iKvHrM
Ashley Barnes no red card.
Bruno offside
Roberts no penalty first game.
We cant get away from the fact its been a poor start - two heavy defeats, I felt we were a touch lucky to get a point against Everton but i did feel we the slightly better side against Burnley. If we were sat currently with 4 points in 13th place I think most would be ok with that. Lets see what the next few weeks brings. This manager and his players have not let us down yet!

Our first game back in the prem we're going to be running anyone into the ground and the return match they were really thin.
A 30m player scores the chance Rod had. The injury was a clumsy but innocent challenge.
Raph is hampered by a very poor Ayling.
Dallas has been figured out this season in that central midfield role.
Harrison is easy fodder vs clever defenders. Cant beat a man.
Add all this to the now full stadiums, and that equalising “training match” feel from last season disappearing. You have a really telling second season.
We just did not do enough in the window.
We had developed a solid defence by the end of last season but we’ve regressed to where we were at the beginning of last season. No composure or cohesion, which is seriously baffling. But I do think we’ll finish top half. Once we get that first 3pts under our belt, I think it will calm the nerves and we’ll see that fluency.
The tackle wasn’t even a foul and the injury was an unfortunate accident! As for Firpo - he was run ragged first half. Everything they did was down that side. He has a long way to go to win me over.
A poor game from us and nobody really came out with much credit. The bright note was that James looks like he will be a good asset.

Our opening few games are turning into a reality check for us all as Leeds fans. Rome wasn’t built in a day, and neither will our expectation of regular European football come in just a couple of seasons.
'The reality is we've had an awful start to the season, and are only 2 late equalisers away from being on zero points.'
Spot on, Jonty.
We can talk about only being a couple of points off where we were last season against these teams, but we are nothing like the team we were. If Liverpool had taken half of their chances, they would have hammered us.
I think we have lost key members of our squad, the guys who knew Bieslaball and kept us on task - Pablo, Alioski, Bera - we need to catch our breath and regroup. At the moment, we look like we've forgotten the basics, the things that made us so successful last season. The next three fixtures will tell us more about this team than the last four. I would be happy with at least a win and a draw.

You don't see anything in Struijk?
Jesus wept
I’ve seen the Struijk "tackle" again and if that's a red we may as well go home and start knitting ffs
Just bad luck on the Liverpool kid.
He showed too much of the ball and Struijk said thank you very much. Just a freak occurence. Ref didn't see anything wrong with it initially. Struck already an excellent footballer and will only get better.
Not sure what all the fuss is about regarding our start to the season, early days ffs!
