Sad news about Derby difficult to understand how a club of its standing could end up in such a mess. We can be critical of Fosun over details but look at what they have achieved since we were struggling along with Derby to find a way out of the Championship.

About time there was another series of Luther. I'll need to go back and catch up though. There have been loads of good cop dramas on recently. Marcella is worth a watch, though the last series got a bit OTT. Line of Duty obviously, Baptiste, Hidden, The Bridge (not British mind), Unforgotten which in fact features a DI Sunnyand The Bay which is set in Morecambe of all places.

Yeah Luther is class I love his side kick Alice

Line of duty is really good but who is aitch

Marcella was good but agree not a fan of the last series and the Irish angle

Not tried Luther. Seen a majority of others. Missus loves hinterland, bit too grim for me.

Watching Mr-Inbetween right now, that is awesome. Not a cop show though.

Oh really. Where is it filmed anyway? Thought I saw Wulfrun slushing around up to his nuts in mud on a farm in one episode.

Dunno if i can be fecked to get up at 4.30am tomorrow, mullered today after digging deep in a pretty dodgy area yesterday, about 105+ degrees, walking dry washes and being mindful of Rattle snakes, drug smuggling and immigrants

I have an image of you like Johnny Depp in those daft Sauvage adverts he does.

Just had to Google that . He has me beat in the cool stakes I think. Picture a guy dripping wet, boots covered in dust, wide brimmed hat, sunglasses, bush whacking into a dry riverbed with bins and camera swinging from the neck/shoulder. I know I know, it all sounds so glamourous

I liked Bent Coppers - Crossing the Line of Duty.

A real insight into the dark and devious dealings of the police force in London in the seventies and eighties. Nearly 500 police officers were either prosecuted or forced to resign. Apparently a few of the senior police officers at the top of the corrupt gangs never got bought to justice, and moved overseas to escape arrest and imprisonment.

With the exception of Neto and Jonny, Wolves have a fully fit squad going into today’s game. Having a decent bench is the big positive now compared to last season where due to injuries we often had mostly kids as subs. Last week at Watford being able to bring on the likes of Hwang and Podence was what finally swung the game in our favour

Just picked up these little gems from the BBC web page.

Wolves are averaging 17.8 shots and five shots on target per game in the Premier League this season, more than in any other campaign in the division.

Only Norwich have had fewer shots on target in the Premier League this season than the nine by Brentford.

Brentford's most recent top-flight away win was 2-1 at Leeds United in April 1947.

Well that was a bloody awful afternoon all round. Terrible wolves performance, hopeless refereeing and Brentford were the biggest set of sh!thouses I've seen in a long while. We knew they would press, Lage even said it in his pre match presser so why we kept playing out like they had no idea how they were going to play was baffling.

Individual errors for their goals, Marcal for the pen and Kilman for the second but 62% possession and not a single shot on target tells its own tale.

Not quite sure what I watched today. Hopefully cinci didn't get up at 4.30am to watch a lackluster performance from a side that has been producing good football.

You cannot rugby tackle opponents in your box and get away with it. Felt sorry for Kilman who 99 times out 100 would have collected that ball.

But overall, poor performances from most players. Hwang and Podence, who I believe should both start the next game, were the pick of the bunch and they were both substitutes. Even Jimenez threw away his headband after missing that sitter of a header. Traore does pose a threat, but his final shots/deliveries need to improve dramatically.

Bad day at the office, but let's hope Lage can sort it out before the next game.

Such a disappointment today. Wolves had most of the possession and had the most shots, but not one of them on target. At the end of the game we had Traore, Jimenez, Trincao, Podence, Hwang and Fabio on the pitch but rarely looked like scoring.

Brentford meanwhile caused problems whenever they attacked with Ivan Toney excellent.

Worst performance of the season so far and Bruno needs to find how to get goals out of a team that doesn’t have many goalscorers

Toney was excellent. Would have been a good signing for us. No idea what Marcal was doing. He was at it only minutes earlier and I just knew he was going to give a penalty away. We always underestimate the “lesser” sides. Pride before a fall and all that.

Nope didn't get up at 4.30 thankfully. Just watched it as live, skipping the time wasting of which Brentford excelled. Goldi has it right, pretty impressive sh1thousery from them. Started well enough but credit to Brentford, manager adjusted things and they coped quite comfortably.

Some obvious things need to happen here to me, first off Marcal, good defender he may be but a complete non entity in the final third, looks like he hasn't a clue when he gets into anything like a promising position and that is vital for a wing back. RAN has to be starting.

Not sure what the hell he thought he was doing with the corner either, pretty ridiculous and the most blatant penalty I have ever seen for one of those but I also don't understand why Marcal would be the man marking Toney anyway???.

Secondly Jimenez, its time to address the elephant in the room, he is a long way off his former self and looks like confidence is an issue as well, the rabona thing one such instance, trying to prove something to himself perhaps, failed. Hwang looked very lively and should start next time out.

And don't even get me started on Traore, hinders just about everything we do in a forward motion, stop, start, stand up defender, rinse repeat, balloon the ball over all the players. Yeah he is quick but he slows us down quite remarkably, just doesn't fit a possession based style. Think we will get more from him from the bench.

I knew you would get around to Traore eventually. You really do have a blinkered view of him despite the overwhelming view from fans (ours and others) and pundits alike that he is our main attacking threat. Today he hit the bar with a thunderous shot and provided the only decent scoring opportunity by putting it perfectly on Jimenez's head. It's not his fault if Jimenez made a caant of it.
Admittedly today he overhit most of his crosses but in the first 5 games we have created around 80 scoring chances and Traore has been involved in a very high percentage of them.
We are struggling to score goals at the moment, take Traore out of the picture and we wll be totally toothless.
