Nowhere near good enough.
Even Newcastle could have beat us if not so wasteful.

Let’s be fair we never looked like scoring against Newcastle until that goalkeeping blunder and never looked in control until Bruno got the 3rd.
It was a poor, lethargic display for large spells.

10 men should put up a better fight than that.
Nobody looks great 5 games into the season tbh. Liverpool look the strongest so far.
Villa were the better team at Stamford bridge the other day, City lost to an awful Spurs side. The good teams win when playing badly.

Disjointed is acceptable. It’s the lack of urgency and ball retention out of possession that’s worrying and it’s not a new thing.
If we do nothing new from last season but have an out and our goal scorer and a better CB pairing that could equate to a title challenge.
