I think a few people may be overreacting a tad.
The team you support lost a game in a mini league after going down to 10 men, they've got 5 games left.

Lots of opinions here - but I'd like to hear the genius with the better option - which is easy to say after the fact. We will be back on track and will skin them at home - there will be many goals scored - into their net, not ours.

Hoa did you come out with he is s decent passer? Just because he plays a few long balls to strikers makes him a decent passer? The guy is as bad as Fred in close situations.
I know age is catching up with you but you can always record games and watch them later to analyze. Please don't suggest ideas like Lindelof in midfield

OK I'll try something different and nuanced. Take David Luiz. A far better defender with much better attributes to play in DM. He failed spectacularly there. DM is a very specialized position with very limited players on the planet succeeding there consistently. Lindelof does not have any attributes to play there. For starters a DM needs to be good in tight spaces. CBs don't necessarily
Yes I watch us play. I see a calm temperament, good passer short and long, decent tackler, so so in the air.
I'm not saying he would be a great, but could be better than Matic for example.
With no McT the choice is Matic or Pogba
