Didn't take long to find the we conversation, page two of that thread.

This aged well 😬

You seem to be signing young Ciaran Dixon who we let go for being an undisciplined overweight waster.

Good player but really needs to grow up and get a different set of pals.

It will be a new beginning for him but nothing he does from now on will beat making his Rangers debut last season wearing number 55. 😳

Taking the number 51 at Celtic apparently.

Which suggests he's dumb as well as a bit needy.

I don't like anything about this move or see the point of it.

Bookmarked for when he becomes a Celtic legend in a few years time

That'll be right."

This story might-and I’m emphasising might-have moved on from this already.

Aye I decided to Google him after I posted this and inevitably found the Twitter rumour mill. If that story is proven to have any element of truth to it, I'll be happy for the admins to pull this thread. Hoping it's just gossip.

What about Nicki Minaj?! Cracking reply to her though.

I think it's very unsettling to see that this story has turned into a point scoring exercise on twitter

rumours last night that he had committed suicide have (i think and hope) been quashed this morning

Career rightfully down the pan now. 3/4 years minimum in the jail for that.

As much as I think he deserves everything that’s coming to him if he’s responsible for the hit and run, if the rumours from last night aren’t true then that would be a bit of a relief.

Did he have a Rangers or Celtic too on when he done it?
Hate e whole Rangers/Celtic player thing when it’s a private citizen
Shamima Begum on ITV just now cutting about like Nicky Minage

Not sure what you're angling at here.

Just saying the boy is an idiot. Haven't brought either team into it other than to say we were talking about him recently.

Bit of an odd comment from you.

No worries, thought it was aimed at me 😂

Aye I've seen the nonsense being written on twitter, idiots saying it represents either club and then going down the usual avenues which have been leading to the usual bigotry.

Fortunately there are as many sensible posts/comments on the incident as there are from the wallopers, but you know which comments are amplified the most.. the latter 🤦‍♂️

When I had a wee look at the deadline day thread, I picked up on the fact he'd apparently been done for drink driving which I'm assuming helped lead to Rangers giving him the boot. You'd think with this lifeline that Celtic offered him, he'd realise he was being given a second chance and would straighten himself out.

Some folk just can't be helped I guess until they mature for themselves if ever.. sometimes takes a horrific event like this to wake people up. Just a tragic incident.

Doesn't help when people are claiming his body has been pulled from the Clyde.

Police have confirmed they have dealt with no incident like this over the last couple of days

The Venn diagram of those who want Begum to never be allowed back into UK soil and those who support Andrew Windsor is a circle.

Absolutely. Just need to look back to aftermath of the Benjamin Mendy arrest.

Not at all.

They're like the Mafia. Close ranks anytime they come under pressure/threat from outside forces.

He'll live his days in hiding in one of the many, many palaces that we pay for.

He fled the scene even if he wasn't drunk that's unforgivable. He will lose his career from this and his life prospects are irreversibly damaged.

Reminds me of a friend who was killed a few years ago. Standing outside the casino smoking. Guy who had lost too much pinched the first person he saw. His head hot the kerb.

As much as I hate the guy that did it he was a young bloke in the forces with much ahead of him and made a stupid yet deliberate mistake. Again lost his career and future prospects.
