After 2 and a half years with Solskjaer...

Well coached, well drilled.

Multi dimensional, expansive, expensive.

Scintillating footy that screams "it's the taking part not the winning that matters"

Drunken master style.

I’m still not sure we have a specific style tbh!

We can’t keep possession. When we do have possession we move it slowly.
When under pressure we don’t always counter quickly.

We still rely on individual brilliance to create chances and goals most of the time.

Imagine how good we’d be if we could attack well, consistently and coherently as a team

Top of the league footy 👍

'Generous' would be my word.

Our love of giving the ball away knows no bounds.

Good at countering , rely on individuals otherwise

I wish someone would ask Ole this question, and let's see what he says.

I’m Ole in but I agree it’s hard to say that we have any style of play.

Too often it feels like we have better players than the opposition so that will be enough. We really need to pick up the pace in some games.

Still this

LVG and Jose had definitive styles of play whilst our managers......Sure worked out a treat that did.

We scored 2nd most goals last season behind City. We lost the joint fewest games. We are currently top of the PL.

How on earth does that all happen? Are we just lucky?

After two and a half years of Ole would be a better title.
Our 'style' is to play out from the back, attack mainly down the wings with overlapping fullbacks, then cross or pass sideways or back according to the opposition defence;
It's not attractive generally, and I hope for better, usually in vain.
I don't agree with the individual brilliance theory, because looking at our goals it's not true;
I'm hoping better players will make us more attractive.

I would describe it as “drunk cooking “, throw anything that looks tasty into the pan and see what happens. Sometimes it tastes delicious and sometimes it needs scraping into the bin. Ole is basically a pist up chef.

Just watching Liverpool vs Milan. Liverpool do everything with so much urgency compared to us.

The thing is, when we play with a quicker tempo we look a much better team. It is frustrating.

I know but surely it’s not rocket science.

This is an average Milan side but they’ve battered them into submission by doing things quickly.

Jurgen is a great coach. His teams always play with a high tempo. The result is some injuries, burnout, but trophies and excitement

Exactly. See Ronaldo’s 2nd at the weekend. Shaw put a bit of pace into it instead of playing at walking pace and low and behold we cut through them.
