Does seem odd that the manager of the current League Champions has to appeal live on TV for fans to come to the game.
Bit embarrassing.

Nothing at all, he just can't get his head round the fact that more fans want to go to Anfield than there are seats available so some fans have to miss out.

Contrast that with the fact there are so many empty seats at the emptyhad that it's difficult to see any fans that might be there.

My son was there, however, I was not there on account Anfield, as usual, was sold out.

Maybe the Cityzens are misreading the social distancing signs and taking the 'keep 2m apart' to mean miles instead of metres.

Particularly given the farce of the ticketing. He should have been apologising on behalf of the club, really.

Sore point with me. I had a ticket but got called on Tuesday and told to isolate. Had a mare trying to reassign the ticket.

Clubs generally report attendances based on tickets sold, rather than the actual number who turn up. It was reported on a few years ago in regards to United - the discrepancy between official attendance and police figures being as high as 10,000, and at Liverpool, who sell around 99% of tickets while actual attendance averaging around 94% capacity.

At City, there has been the reported scenario where fans have been unable to get tickets, and then see empty seats while the game is being broadcast.

It’s annoying, and it gives opposition fans an understandable reason to have a dig at City.

Kamikaze’s point is obvious. There are fans of other clubs who mock City’s attendances while themselves failing to attend games of the club they support.

The narrative is being exaggerated though. City have regularly sold out. Most games are sold out. Certainly PL games.

But Melton (as always), makes a valid point. The ticketing situation at City is a farce at present, and the club need to sort it out. It is making the club, and it’s fans, look bad.

Is this a dig at City fans, or at Pep?

Pep has got it wrong on this.

Because City hire influencers and plant shills to buy tickets and post on social media.

Selling all tickets is necessary to generate income to cover all the doping.

Adds credence to rumours that your owners buy up masses of tickets to create “revenue”

So only the 50,000 that attended last night's game can mock City for having no fans?

I don't know why City fans keep regurgitating this reetarded logic. Desperate times call for desperate logic. Other clubs are constantly sold out and have many waiting for season tickets.
