At City, there has been the reported scenario where fans have been unable to get tickets, and then see empty seats while the game is being broadcast.

Pep couldnt really give a damn about Man-city its always been about spending money to make him look like a great manager. Thats the reason he was arguing with Grealish.. if Grealish flops it will look bad on Peps

Look at what happend last season. He "wasnt" sure if he was going to stay. and hey presto during a pandemic and teams losing money had over fist,. they managed to pay out 110 million on 2 defenders.
So he signed a new contract..

Leipzig left back Angelino was a City player, scored 8 goals for them last season,you must be thinking of the bad oil club that signs bad german forwards
City currently have 2 fit centre backs
Was listening to TalkSport earlier and a City fan came on and said that 90% of City fans are working class local people and it can be a struggle to afford the prices City are charging for games, especially across 4 competitions. Valid point and tbf, City do have a good core of fans in Manchester as well, not many clubs can say they were getting 25-30k at home games in the Third Division.
Building a big fanbase outside of your area takes time and, unfortunately, especially in England, it will take generations before City have the same number of fans that United, Liverpool etc have - or basically before people who live outside of the Manchester district go to games. They are definitely a global brand, but unfortunately people in Dubai, Thailand etc aren't going to get flights over to Manchester every few days.
