I've been working an international job in the last decade or so. I can only spend a few months in the UK per year. I used to try hard and overpay for tickets the first couple of years but I stopped trying after getting scammed two times.
If Anfield had 13,000 empty seats then I would be willing and able to go to all games when I'm in the UK. If I was a City fan going to games wouldn't be a problem tbh.
Spot the difference. When I come back permanently then I will slowly try to get a season ticket.

I do find it very odd that we’ve really not picked up many “tourist “ supporters who pick up the slack at Utd Liverpool & the London clubs
I suspect it will take a couple of decades of continued success on the pitch to see a difference
A lot of the empty seats are bought by agencies who can’t find anyone to sell them to 😊
Not many of us on here but I think the majority of us do go to the matches

Right, I’ll reiterate, read my initial reply to you again.
I’ll repeat some of it again. There’s quite a few people on here that I imagine joined a forum in the first place because they no longer go to matches. I only joined the old 606 when I moved away and stopped going to matches at the time and I imagine I’m not the only one.
If I couple that with the fact you’ve got ever presents on your match threads for every game as well as, as others have already stated on this thread, the difficultly of your fans getting a ticket purely for the odd game, then it stands to reason that you’ve got a fair amount that I wouldn’t consider match goers.
To reiterate another point that I said in that reply again, I’m not bothered by it. Quite the opposite, I’d expect it.
