As the pressure mounts inside the club due to results and performances, because it will, I’m starting to wonder what the fall out will be.

Such as, when do our 37% shareholders, the 49ers, step in with a sense of urgency? Do they use their NFL models to ask if Orta’s recruitment is good enough? Have the club invested wisely in players? Do they ask the bigger question about MB? Or do they stay the course?

Bigger than that, do top 4 clubs start circling, readying bids on Raph and KP? Liverpool and Man City. Because if they get a sense things are shaky, they know they can tempt both players. And they know if any fear of relegation inside the club is there, big bids to cash in now while the value is high, could be accepted.

Am I moaning? No. This is reality for us. We could potentially be in the relegation zone end of this weekend.

Must of been a great watch for the neutral but very frustrating for Leeds fans.
I don't think we've regressed at all, of course we're going to miss alioski, for all his faults according to some on here he was our spark plug.
RAF has a ton of talent but two touches when one on one with the goaler is one of the reasons we didn't get the three points.

It doesn't help when we play the exact same lineup each game regardless of player form, last result, last performance, opponent, opponent playstyle. We could lose 5 nil in consecutive games and we'll play exactly the same in the third game. Opposition manager knows exactly what we are going to do and who's going to play every time they face us.

When we had our spark that didn't matter. If we're not playing as well as we can, it makes all the difference.

Yes, very disappointed with the result BUT let's look on the bright side?

We had a great first half and created a number of chances, despite the equaliser. Could've been two or three up at half time.

What a dummy from Rodrigo - that was a thing of rare beauty!

Summerville looks very promising. Is Bielsa now ready to blood some more of the U23s coming through? Wonder if Cresswell will get a game against West Ham?
Courage, under fire!

Speaking of which, Cooper, Ayling and Meslier held it together pretty well at the back.

I thought Firpo was lucky not to see a second yellow but nonetheless played quite well and looks to be getting up to speed, notwithstanding his miss.

We should have had a penalty - James will get better.

There were passages in the first half where we seemed to be back to business as normal. Just gotta be patient, I guess.

I wonder how much we are missing our wildcard in Alioski? Again it’s early days, but Firpo seems to be much weaker in attack than he was and not much better in defence.

Said it before and I will say it again, we should have moved heaven and hell to keep the guy at the club.

He is a man who is greater than the sum of his parts and I think we lost a lot of the soul of the club when he left.

Beren Cross gave Firpo a 4 yesterday, J P Deveton said "Firpo was nowhere to be seen in the second half. He did make a couple scoring chances when Leeds attacked in Newcastle territory in the first half but he never made any impact after that".

The management clearly know the price of players but not their value.

I've said many times on here, Alioski was one of my favorite players.
Not just for his play, but for intangibles. Sorely missed. I still feel it's
too early to pan Firpo though. He showed flashes.

However, Els, your 'sum of the parts' nails where I am right now with
my frustration. There's not a player in our team I don't rate or love. They have all given everything over the last three seasons, including yesterday.

But, the sum of the parts right now is the worry. We look a shell of last year's team. A ton of factors have made that so. It can all be righted. Hope like hell it is.

The Championship is like the Death Star. Once it's tractor beam has you, it's nigh on impossible to get free.

Kern - get your point but think slightly OTT.

As I've just said on Kammy's thread 33 games to go and we have defence to come back and will overcome sluggish start.

( Hope Patrick finds his shooting boots though)

Seems to me the general opinion now that results have been poor is

Alioski was our best player

Dallas Bamford Ayling and Cooper are all championship players again.

Roberts is to blame for us being 17th and if we had sent on loan to Rochdale we would be top of the league with 15 points.

Firpo has not yet proved a better replacement for Alioski. But for me, the biggest problem is other teams have us figured out this year. We have no surprise element, they know how to deal with us now.
James has not impressed as yet and the Manu fans maybe right, despite pace there's no end product. Perhaps the full stadiums is also a problem for some of our players too?
Am I worried? Well at least there's plenty of game time to complete, but I have to say I'm more concerned than I was last season.
