How many times did we do it like that, late on, under Fergie? We’ve got real leaders and world class talent in the squad. We’re going places and a lot of momentum is with us this year: Varane, Sancho and Ronaldomania will see us good.

Lets not rewrite history because he scored the winner today, he’s a decent player for a top four club, nothing more.

Yes there is definitely a huge anti Man United bias with the refs - loads of Liverpool fans.
It’s scandalous to think you only got 11 penalties in 38 games last season
definitely the kind of result and performance that can raise morale and belief in the team
Reserving judgement for when we’ve played all of the big sides. We’ve got a hellish run Oct - Nov. Real test of our mettle.
We have 4 home games in a row. Hopefully with the fans back and the Ronaldo fear factor we can be strong at home this season.
I think we will be about 4 or 5 clear come January. Belief is the crucial factor for this set of players and with winners now on board we could open up a gap sooner than most think.

Yeah football didn't exist before the PL, good point Hafi 😅
Its amazing how Man Utd are top scorers in the league despite missing so many chances and having clear penalties not given for us. We would have been top if the ref gave the penalties we deserved if we scored them.
Yes OP, definitely on the right track. Let's hope this becomes a consistent feature of our game. Ole's style of play is still evolving and so, as long as we keep winning the grumblings would be minimal.

How can anyone be bragging about being top when UTD are level on points. The league doesn’t end in September…
Now, being RedDevils advocate here, I liked we controlled most of the possession, created a lot of chances, but for large parts the intensity levels were not good enough.
There was a good period at the start of 2nd half when West Ham went to sleep, we should’ve turned up the heat, but it was a bit lacklustre.
How much did that take out of West Ham in Europe, less recovery time, yet we found it a bit tough to break them.
This was by far our best performance overall, cos the other games have been a right ding dong.
How much difference would Antonio have made?
I’m not expecting 3-0 4-0 wins every game, but an intense pressure that breaks teams is a must.
