also telling Ole to feck off back to Norway where he came to the UK, from.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
wonder how he would have reacted if someone told him to feck off to wherever his family originated from
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I will put it down to football being a passionate game.

I've still got you for 4th, I think you'll be gassed again come the end of the season, but we will see. Bit of luck never hurts and although I thought Utd should have had a penalty themselves De Gea saving one is certainly a turn up for the books.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don’t think we’ll be gassed we have arguably the strongest squad in the league. If any of the top 4 will be running out of steam it will be Liverpool’s paper thin squad.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Run out of steam?
Liverpool finished last season stronger than any other team in the league, winning 8, and drawing 2 of their last 10 games, using that paper thin squad you talk of.
So once again, facts get in the way of lazy narrative. 🙂
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Using an end of the season w@nk to somehow justify your team falling apart after 1 defender got injured.

Your squad lacked depth. It is not a bad thing to admit.

I don't think Utd have anywhere the strongest squad in the league but more importantly the first team has at least tow players who wouldn't get anywhere near City's, Liverpool's or Chelsea's first team and despite squads being important, they're not as important as the first 11.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I would say that last year showed just how important the squad is if you lose a few first XI players. I get your point though Hoods.

One thing I will say is that United fans probably think City, Chelsea and Liverpool have players we think wouldn’t get near our team.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Any team in this league that loses six centre backs will suffer regardless of squad size (which hold 23 players for all).

It's a lazy narrative based on a complete outlier of a situation.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
did you have all 6 missing at once?

regardless that falls on klopp.

obviously the VVD injury couldnt have been foreseen, but matip and gomez are injury prone and their fitness cant be relied on.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

How on Earth does having all our cbs and 9 players in total at one stage fall on Klopp.

As said, it's an outlier, and utterly so. We were top of the league at Christmas, top of the form table last 12 games, are on the longest unbeaten run the Prem and I think have 14 mins from 16.

That lies with Klopp, the rest not so much. He doesn't sign players for a start.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
all teams have injury issues robbing... the season you won it you went pretty much unscathed.

and no, klopp doesnt sign players, but if he was happy going into the season with only 1 reliable CB then thats his choice.
the fact you signed konate this summer would suggest he now realises that
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I find this extremely myopic but okay.

just goes to show though that despite having all those injuries to your cb's, not everyone uses it as an excuse
some just get on with it and still win titles

The Ole brown nosers will literally make up any old lie to try and excuse his flawed abilities.

Thankfully I'm a calm and rational guy and I know it's more than likely his last season at the club, and when that day comes I won't be rude and laugh about it.

posted on 20/9/21

Lots of teams do get multiple injuries or ones to key players sometimes though, I agree. They rarely win the league as a result though.

All it took for City was to lose Laporte before Dias got signed and they went in the bin. Heard no end of "wait until Laporte is back" so something does not does not quite add up.

youre the most reactionary muppet on here.

w@anking into your sock over the signing of "cristy" then slitting your wrists the week after.

you think because you spend the majority of your life on twatter looking up pointless stats and chasing transfer info that you know what youre on about.

Because citing examples from the best part of a decade ago, in what was a vastly different league with different strengths and different teams, is out dated and as such moot.

Teams don't even use the same formations so "Yeah but Fergie didn't struggle when we had injuries once" is nonsense.
