We would need to finish on around 90 points this season to win the title because Liverpool, Chelsea and City will all push each other, unless one gets a ridiculous amount of injuries like Liverpool last year.

No team coached by Ole is finishing on 90 points.

So no, we aren't going to win the league, we lack the central midfield and coach/play style whatever you want to call it to dominate games every week.

The attitude towards Solskjaer genuinely surprises me. I get people thinking we need a more experienced or higher caliber, I don't agree but I can see why they do.

What I don't get is the outright disrespect and vitriol towards him. I can only think it's people who see the club more as a reflection on themselves and care more about bantering other people and bragging about titles than they do about the club itself.

Solskjaer has done enough for the club to at a minimum be respectfully criticised. You can say he isn't up to it without being a d!ck about it. When I see our own fans calling him an idiot (to put it lightly) immediately screams 'plastic' to me. He's done too much with the club to ever warrant personal abuse.

As Klopp, Pep, and Tommy are all better than Ole, there are going to be some disappointed fans. Unless they get one each, and the side that gets the cup will be disappointed.
Just think if Conte comes to us, that's another disappointment for someone.

Part of the issue with that little group is that they seem to get reality and social media confused. The GOAT chap in particular seems to blame poor performances on the lack of condemnation of Ole by the majority of posters. It's become more of a battle to impose their views on an internet forum on other users, as if that can have any influence on the club whatsoever. The language used often suggests that it's us that are keeping him in a job, which is bonkers.

You don't have to see into the future.

West Ham aren't going to win the league, or finish on 80 points. I don't need to see into the future to say that.

A team managed by Ole isn't going to finish on 90 points or win the league this year, again, I don't see to know next weeks lottery numbers to make that comment.

No, I don’t think we can win the title. McFred will come unstuck too many times over the course of a 38 game season for us to amass what is realistically expected to be a 90+ point requirement to win the title.

We’d need Ronaldo to have a 40 goal season I reckon.

Nice speech.

But you seem to have translated people saying Ole doesn't have the CV or coaching ability to manage one of the biggest clubs in the world, and win the league against more accomplished managers.

Into everyone is calling Ole stupid or worse, and are being horrible.
