As Klopp, Pep, and Tommy are all better than Ole, there are going to be some disappointed fans. Unless they get one each, and the side that gets the cup will be disappointed.
Just think if Conte comes to us, that's another disappointment for someone.

I'll be disappointed if Conte comes to us
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why? He is a TOP Manager
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Who comes after Conte when he leaves after two years?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes lets keep someone because they will stay for ten years and win no major trophies, compared to someone who might only stay for 2-3 whilst winning the league.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Like Jose did?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yep. If Ole doesn't manage to make the final step and win trophies then at least the time he has spent at the club will have set us up for the future. We saw with Jose where the short term approach can leave you if the manager fails. Obviously we'd have to make sure that the new manager suits the squad at his disposal, but I'm more confident of us getting that right after the changes that have been made in personnel.

We won trophies under Jose, and finished on 81 points in his final full season.
Despite Ole spending 450 million in additions to a squad that finished second the previous year, he hasn't matched that points tally or won a trophy.
As for people saying we are building for the future. Ronaldo 500k a week, Cavani huge salary, varane huge salary.
We dont have a single player under 26 that Ole has bought who would get into our first 11.
In 2 years whe a new manager comes in, he will have to spend another 500 mill to bring players in. Let's hope he actually wins something

You specified major trophies. That for me doesn't mean the Europa or League Cup.
And of course we are building for the future. Anyone who had an ounce of understanding of the changes that have been made to the academy would understand that. Ole has also been happy for the club to invest decent money in young players that won't be an option in the first team for a few seasons. Its one of the reasons he was given the permanent managers role. Jose wasn't interested in the long term, which is one of the reasons he was sacked.
Varane is a top 5 CB in his prime. I have no problem with that signing at all. Cavani and Ronaldo are of course past their best, but still 2 great players. They are good stop gap options whilst we assess Greenwood and possibly Elanga and what role they can/will play at the club. Or perhaps whilst we wait for Haaland to become available? And I'm struggling to think of many players to come in and set a good example to the young attacking talent we have at the club. That said, I wouldn't be surprised to see Cavani leave in January once Rashford it back.
No idea what you are going on about with the under 26 thing. AWB is a regular starter. Sancho will be a regular for years to come. Greenwood has promoted by Ole and plays regularly - I know we didn't buy him, but that is still building for the future. He's also given debuts to 16 academy players and we've been pretty active in securing the academy players loan deals to help them develop.
How on Earth you can conclude that a new manager would need to spend £500m if Ole does is beyond me. Do you not pay any attention whatsoever at what is/has gone on at the club? I can only assume that you don' t if you we can't see how we are building for the future.

We would need to buy 2 x new strikers to replace Cavani and Ronaldo.
Pogba is going to leave on a free next year. So we will need a new left winger.
We need 2 new centre mids.
We need a new right back.
So despite spending 450 million on transfers, and having by far the biggest wage bill in the league. If a new manager came in next year or the season after, he would again have to spend similar.

I want United to succeed which means Ole leaving... which part of that is difficult for you to grasp.
I don't blindly back and praise crap owners, coaches or players.
The owners arent going anywhere, so the the next thing that would make the biggest improvement would be a quality manager coming in.
Imagine if we would have got Tuchel before Chelsea did. We would probably be favourites for the league this year.

Why? You are not a United fan.
The reason I ask is because he is the manager of the club you support.
In his first full season he got third and three semi finals.
In his next he got second and to à final.
Yes I know he hasn't won anything.. Yet.
But you talk about him as if he was spawn of the devil.

Where did you get your crystal ball from?
Pogba may or may not leave. Either way we have Rashford and Martial that are better played there. Rashford will likely take that spot.
Cavani I think will be gone in January. We've already replaced him with Ronaldo. Who could well stay for 3 years. Which gives Greenwood time to develop and perhaps Elanga too? Or maybe we sign Haaland for £68m?
VDB will hopefully become a more integral part of the team in CM and Hannibal is already pushing to be in and around the first team. He looks to be a special talent. Garner could also prove to be an option. I do think we need a top CDM though.
Right back I'm not sure about. Laird looks promising and will benefit from his Swansea loan this season. He could well make a play for the first team squad. Jurado is also highly rated, but is likely another year or two away yet.
You've said that Ole hasn't built for the future and I've shown you how incorrect that is, so you've focussed solely on the £500m that you think the new manager would need to rebuild. Completely ignoring the fact we are putting so much effort into youth to ensure that we don't have to spend as much on established players moving forwards. It's utterly bizarre and I feel you're totally out of touch with the club you support. An ill-informed teenager that wants instant gratification.

You haven't shown me anything.
You just mention young players that haven't done anything/ cannot get into the first 11.
You could say the same for every club, they all have young prospects.
You talk as though our first 11 is made up of under 25s that Ole has signed, and will be here for the next decade.
In reality the signings Ole has made that make our first 11 are Ronaldo 36 years old. Varane 28 years old, harry Maguire 28 years old, bruno 27 years old, AWB not good enough.
So no he hasn't bought for the future, he has spent huge money on transfers and safes for now. And if we dont win major trophies, it's been a disaster. I cannot think of another team who has spent so much in the last 5 years and not won anything of note.
Ronaldo, cavani, varane building for the future. Lol

I don't blindly back and praise crap owners, coaches or players.
The owners arent going anywhere, so the the next thing that would make the biggest improvement would be a quality manager coming in.
Imagine if we would have got Tuchel before Chelsea did. We would probably be favourites for the league this year.

The reason I ask is because he is the manager of the club you support.
In his first full season he got third and three semi finals.
In his next he got second and to à final.
Yes I know he hasn't won anything.. Yet.
But you talk about him as if he was spawn of the devil.
What you write is opinion, it's not fact, because it hasn't happened yet.
I must say I would hate to be in your shoes generally, lifr must be a disappointment. Certainly football has for the last eight years.

You need to go and support another team!
If you want Utd to succeed then for now you have to back Ole.
When SAF first took over the plastic fans were exactly like you wanting him out!! 🤬

No i don't.
I talk about him as though he has never won a trophy in a decent league, and hasn't won any trophy whatsoever in the last 8 years.
Why does everyone on here always revert to personal attacks. It's only my opinion on a football coach, relax

How on Earth you can conclude that a new manager would need to spend £500m if Ole does is beyond me. Do you not pay any attention whatsoever at what is/has gone on at the club? I can only assume that you don' t if you we can't see how we are building for the future.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How on earth can I? Ok Ill break it down for you.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Where did you get your crystal ball from?

Didn't the owner of Cardiff like to pick the team?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes he did. But some of our fans only read what they want to read. Ole made a big error in taking on that job. He shouldn't have got involved with the crazy fool.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He hasn't won a single trophy since being sacked from Cardiff City, so their owner obviously new something you don't
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The owner that was picking the team that got relegated? Explain the one to me then

Lol
