Yes I just saw this, bit of strange one to say the least. I can just about see the connection between a football club and e-sports, the motor sports tie up is getting pretty tenuous, but a music label? Sorry don't get that at all.
This is not creation of a brand as I see it, more exploitation of the Wolves brand as a vehicle to promote a multimedia business. I'd be happier if Fosun were to create this multimedia business outside of WWFC to be honest, by all means use the Wolves brand to help promote it but leave the football club management team to manage the core business and appoint another management team to oversee all this peripheral stuff.
I'd rather see records on the pitch, like having an unbeaten run of matches.

Everything at a football club should be functioning towards one singular end goal (pun intended).

I can just see them releasing a hits album featuring such classics as 'Who let the dogs out', 'Hungry Like the Wolf', 'Hound dog' 'Black Dog' and 'Foxy Lady'
Soon to be followed by the classical work 'Peter and the Wolf' by Prokofiev.
Maybe they could sign up Wolfmother.

True there isn't just one guy running the club but this is certainly taking up the time of Jeff Shi and Russell Jones, time that could be better spent on other priorities.
We saw this kind of thing a few years ago when Morgan took his eye off the core business to build a stand, museum and megastore. At least he left a tangible legacy after our trip to league one.
Becoming as tacky a football club as is humanly possible. This diversification won't ever end as long as this shower own us.
New owners required. Please sell up, Guo. If you can't do that then please get rid of Shi and bring in a football man - preferably English.

Take us back to the 70s when our club shop was a portacabin and we only had turnstiles on one side of the pitch to allow the 450 fans in. I’m a purist in that respect.
