You know you are in permanent decline, career wise, when the Leeds board come knocking.
Of course almost all managers, whatever club they are at, know they will eventually fail in the job, just the process at Leeds is that much quicker than anywhere else.

AR took 100% ownership of Leeds in Jan 2017, Monk was manager, I think he pretty much walked away. TC was appointed, he had done an OK job at Apoel but was clearly out of his depth at ER. Heckingbottom was appointed pretty much as a stop gap, everyone knew it, including him.
Of the 46 months since AR took charge we have had four managers, hardly a trainwreck.
Much much better than a lot of his predecessors.
