By the way, if I were an elite footballer (which as it happens I'm not) I'd be asking myself whether having an agent who swallows such a huge % of such transactions is really in my interests. Buying club, selling club and player could emerge considerably better off without someone taking such an obscene cut.

Steer clear and let City have him - it will confirm that they are a club for mercenaries and would be nowhere without the money. That said, if we were to pay those figures to sign him, it would underline our status as the biggest club in the world and a team every player dreams of joining. I have never seen him play.

We should attempt to sign Haaland this season. There will be a few clubs who will activate his release clause.

The board should then have a rough idea what they want to pay in terms of wages and agent fees. If it turns out to be astronomical, just walk away.

Its not the point though, 3.4million is hardly the 27 million euro Raiola trousered.

…….

Says 34 million in the OP . Has the OP got it wrong?

You still there Cloggy?

It was 34 million. Bloody hell, for flogging a footballer to another club.
How do you get a job like that, do you need O levels?

I know it was 52. Cloggy isn’t very bright when it comes to reading.

Buy, allow to leave on free, buy back, something something shirt sales

If players and agents carry on like this then it’s only a matter of time before these owners try to flip to NFL-style contracts.

A 36 year old Ronaldo came back to us for the love of the club, and gets 500k a week.

So Haaland coming for 800k a week or so, doesn't seem so preposterous.

Can’t see any correlation here so I look forward to you explaining it.

Any club would be crazy to anywhere near him if those demands are anywhere near true.

3.4m agent fee is very reasonable imo. Pogba's agent mugged you for 20 million
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Every single media outlet reported that Juve paid that you dumb feck
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And then added it onto our fee no doubt.

£500k a week, £70m buyout, even £30m in agent fees on top of that, and it's still a good deal

He's a truly truly outstanding player. I can't see another current player more likely to win the Ballon D'or in the future

You'll be in for a long wait.

The £500k a week was also the initial media speculation, it's been reported since in other quarters as £385k a week, which would still make him the Premier League's highest paid player, above De Bruyne on £380k a week.

Ron has his agenda to push. It's very tiresome.
