Don't remember much of Newark except a great market square.
Unless it's the inferior new version.

In the US
It’s the prequel movie to The Sopranos.
Newark near Nottingham?
The market is quite nice but it's incredibly run down now in most parts and the people are not exactly broad minded in the main.

Yes, that Newark, it's probably 40 years or so since I went, taking my parents to Wells next the sea. I think we had lunch at a pub in the square. It looked good then.
Yep I'll check it out hopefully.

Used to be a great night out though. A similar ratio of women to men as Nottingham.
During the Civil War, Newark was besieged on three occasions and finally surrendered only when ordered to do so by the King after his own surrender.

I did think there were a lot, but it's been there since Roman times.
I’m sure the A6 goes through Newark

I assumed this was just a myth when I was a teenager but when I started going out in others cities the lack of women was noticeable.
Went to Lloyds in Concert Sq, Liverpool and it was a sausage-fest, more meat packed in there than Satriale's Pork Store (bringing it back ‘round to The Sopranos, you’re welcome Giggs’ Relationship Councillor).
I’ll be watching The Many Saints because I love The Sopranos but I’m not holding out much hope for it. I think it’ll be one of those “meh, it was alright” type movies. I can’t put my finger on why though.

It stands on the A1 – the ancient Great North Road – and the East Coast Main Line railway.

It's HBO Max so it'll be streamable when it's released, think I'll just watch it like that. I'm sure it'll be enjoyable but Sopranos is all about growing to love the characters from the TV series, this can't ever have that attachment. Nice touch that Gandolfini's son will play a young Tony.
And the A46.
I don’t go to Newark much even though it’s only 15 mins away. Odd place, it’s either very affluent or large gypsy communities, there’s very little middle ground.
