I reckon the main thing he will be judged on is the league as usual, followed by Europe. Personally I care little about the cups and they would certainly be no consolation if we lose the league. My guess is it will be a pretty strong team tonight but not all first choices.

King is behind Kyle McLelland in the pecking order. And rightly so.
King has looked decent enough for the B team but he has been far from a stand out.
McClelland is far more aggressive than King who seems to start games pretty slowly at times.
King is younger and more developing to do but he hasnt looked like the superstar some of the hype would have suggested.
I cannot believe how quick some supporters are in writing off players after a handful of matches, they obviously were t around when signed Hately, Albertz and McCoist to name a few. Rangers are a massive club and only massive players walk in and settle straight away

Rubbish - you can tell fairly quickly who it isn't going to happen for and Simpson is definitely one of those.
There are loads of non-massive players who have walked in and settled in straight off the bat - Sasa Papac looked as though he had been at Rangers all his life for example.
Sometimes you can tell from the off if a player doesn't have it. The ones that prove you wrong still show something.
Barasic as an example, he was mince but you could tell there was quality in him. Scores v St Mirren and never looks back.

I reckon the main thing he will be judged on is the league as usual, followed by Europe. Personally I care little about the cups and they would certainly be no consolation if we lose the league. My guess is it will be a pretty strong team tonight but not all first choices.
