No, it’s not at all. There is a distinction between being a fan of the club (me) and a fan of the manager (you).
Straight after the game last night I said I was delighted with the smash and grab - top feeling to get a last minute winner.
In the subsequent discussion I continued to express my concerns with the manger, because the evidence suggests that he’s not a top manager. There’s no coherent strategy to our play, he only very occasionally gets his subs right (last night being one of those times), he’s soft and he perseveres with formations that don’t suit us. A last minute goal saved him from another few days of criticism - it was pretty close to a must win for him and he’s undoubtedly got a knack for saving his job. How many times a season are people talking about Pep/Klopp/Tuchel needing a win to get the critics off their back? Far far less than with Ole, because those analysts within the game can see what you seemingly refuse to. Ole will not overcome the challenges stacked against him.
Cheer on the manager all you like, but accept that others will continue to demand a higher standard because we’re Man United and the standard nowadays is that we should compete for trophies. This isn’t the 70s/80s where we were clinging to the aura of being a well know club that gained renown because of Munich, the Babes etc., but we were still relatively small fry in the grand scheme of things.
We are now undoubtedly one of the biggest sports teams in the world - the expectation now is and should be success (winning trophies) every year. Anything else is failure. Simple as that.

Firsty lets clearll this up. Ill back the club, team and manager and right now Ole has my backing. Hes done more good than bad, from background of the club to sorting the squad out to blooding youngsters. Weve been competitive since his arrival and and whilst that isnt a cop out as we are Manchester United as we all know and winning is an minimum expectation he has had to clear chit left from 3 fack ups by Ed.
I said I'd judge him on this seaaon as hes had backing and the team /squad is now mainly his. If we are nit competing and struggling then bye bye Ole, its that simple.
He's had enough time in my eyes to sort the midfield out and if that's his downfall, then again no sympathy. What i wont be doing crying after every bad result or if a sub isnt made quick enough especially when we are well in contention to qualify for the CL and are 1 point off top currently in the league.
Ill react and call out the babies on this board that 'claim' to support United whilst throwing about the same ballacks 24/7.

We are now undoubtedly one of the biggest sports teams in the world - the expectation now is and should be success (winning trophies) every year. Anything else is failure. Simple as that.

That, of course, is guff.
The hierarchy don’t sit there committing to spending hundreds of millions on players like Pogba, Sancho, Ronaldo, Bruno, Varane etc., to then say “as long as they try their best it’ll be enough for us.”
Even if that were true, Ole does not have us playing football in the tradition of United, so that’s another blot on his name.
